My final boss was a Plastic Tyrannosaurus Rex with a machine gun crudely gaffa taped to his little arms.

He lived in a lego fortress that took up about 80% of my room and he was called Mr. Evil Dinosaurus.

I think I still have him somewhere.

I always played with Lego. My setup was basically a city, allied with the nearby Rebel Alliance base and martian base, and all three fighting against the evil empire. So the big bad was emperor Palpatine, although the city's gangs sometimes started wars with the police sometime, too.

I think the coolest thing I could remember having for a final boss type was this gigantic robot I had. It could kind of transform into this huge tank, but it also had treads, machine gun hands and these cool eyes, one of which was like the scouter thing Vegeta wore on DBZ.

It'd shoot lasers, and by "lasers", I mean "My Imagination".

It was pretty cool.

Even cooler were the people that were fighting him (I played with my action figures like an RPG), so I had Bob from Reboot, The Blue Power Ranger that I made out to be the Ninja from Metal Gear Solid (He was missing an arm, felt appropriate), and Wolverine, circa the Hugh Jackman version from the first X-Men Movie.

And the best weapon was the Zeus Cannon from FF: Spirits Within.

Imagination......Imagi...na...tion...[/South Park Reference]

The big bad I had was like shining knight that was named Vandal. Master Swordsmen and he had like magic and stuff. (Name was stolen from one of the 1st D.C. villains I was introduced to via my father)

I did battle with him as... Link from the Legend of Zelda. I had a toy of him and everything... Those were great times indeed.

My final boss as a child was a Ganondorf action figure. Was always an intense imaginary pathetic battle.

The Gigantron - a warship with bazillions of guns and missiles made out of Lego using this:

as base, except i attached legs to it making it the first Aquatic Metal Gear.

Also in 2007 the japanese did an Inception and stole my idea:

Penis envy, anyone?

In response to the actual thread, my protagonist was always the same Lego guy: a gray engineer-like torso and pants, hankie across the face, a cap the same color grey, and the Johnny Adventure head (smug-ass smile with an awesome mustache). He would always have a ludicrous number of weapons at his disposal, and would usually fight one of my horrifying Bionicle monsters that had three heads and shot lasers and stuff.

A ghost from Starcraft 2. I have no detectors, and he gets infinite energy, he also has all of his upgrads, and has 9,999 health... I'm a Zergling.

My ideal final boss, or what I perceived to be the definition of a good final boss is something that's actually human sized. I don't like it when games require final bosses to be massive, and instead I like it when they're powerful, not because of their size, but because they're either skilled or incredibly strong.

A massive monster that regenerates limbs that I have to shoot off, and I need to find some other way to kill it. Occaisionally it'll grab me with one of its tentacles and try to eat me alive and I have to shoot it off. (Dead Space style)
