Your life is coming to an end soon.

Lets say hypothetically Your body contains a cure to a new disease but it will require killing you. ( or what ever scenario you wish)

You have been given time to live 4 pleasures of your past over again.

1. video game. ( something that can be finished so no endless multiplayer like the cod series and direct sequals no no all the FF series)
2. Tv show. any 1 tv series to watch
3. Movies any movie or direct sequel series of movies ( dark night saga for example.)
4. book. 1 book or series. bust be direct continuity series like GOT, Belgarid ect

what would be your final choices

Last of us or mass effect.
Lost
Tangled
Riftwar Cycle

I'd probably replay Freelancer, re-watch Friends, re-watch the Lord Of The Rings films (extended edition) and re-read the entire Calvin and Hobbes collection. Those were some of my happiest times.

I'd much rather re-live my younger years when life was simple. School was over in the early afternoon and the whole day was ours, playing outside, running, having fun, not caring about the petty things that surround us in adulthood.
Movies, books, games and series are just time-killers to me in comparison.

Persona 4 movie, they haven't released part 2 so do I get to wait till it's released and I watch it before I die?
I dunno for this one, maybe a light novel? or a manga series? If not I'd probs just pick something dumb like every book in the horrible histories or something.

Also I'd like to be killed via carbon dioxide please. Just leave me in a room and slowly let the air run out and let me die by passing out, that'll be great.

Riftwar Cycle
You sick son of a gun, you acted your own magic on this thread!
I may be only on the third book, but that is a thirty book series!!! XD

At least you'll be able to take your time.

OT:

As for mine.
The Dragon Age series.
Clannad, [sub][sub][sub]an anime[/sub][/sub][/sub].
The Raid.
And of course the Riftwar Cycle.

That will give me plenty of time I think.

1. Either Freelancer or Beyond good and evil. Two of only a handful of games I've actually completed.
2. Stargate SG-1 or Star Trek: Voyager, hmmm.
3. The man from earth or the current crop of marvel movies. I think...maybe.
4. Wheel of time or Discworld series. no, Discworld series.

Don't judge me, I'm not good at making snap decision, ok!
Besides, I'm going to live forever anyway....(nope, no denial going on here)

Hmm. I'm gonna have to go with:

1) Video Game - Dragon Quest 8: Journey of the Cursed King. This game is just perfection in my eyes.
2) TV Series - Prison Break. Gotta have me that last fix of Wentworth Miller.
3) Movies - The Godfather. I love these films to death. Maybe not so much part 3. But Part 1 and 2 are just beautiful.
4) Book - My one true love: The Harry Potter series. These books have taught me a lot and I can't get enough of them.

1. Catherine (Need to be reminded about relationships and shit!)
2. Adventure Time (Continuity in a stand-alone format, yo!)
3. Muppets (From The Muppet Movie to Most Wanted, I guess?)
4. Guardians of Ga'Hoole (Sucks they only made one movie adaptation, though...)

This should last me a month [or two] before I say "at least I die pure in the sex/relationship department" in a joking manner...

Tell my family how much I love them and all the other things I should have said, then go out and eat as much nice food and have as much sex as I possibly...

...

Wait, what?

Video games? Movies?

If I knew I was going to die in four short days, I don't think I'd be inclined to derive much enjoyment out of re-watching a damn movie.

1. Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time (just the game, not the trilogy)
2. Wolf's Rain
3. Toy Story Trilogy
4. The Cloister and the Hearth

Yeah, I'd want to go out not just thinking about how I really am sacrificing myself for the greater good but also being reminded of what I'm potentially preserving.

1.) No question about it; I would play my favorite video game of all time: Sonic & Knuckles for the Sega Genesis.

2.) I'd want to watch the entirety of the Futurama series.

3.) This one is tricky; I'd be either The Jungle Book, The Dark Knight, Jurassic Park, The Avengers, The Nightmare Before Christmas, or Captain America: The Winter Soldier (when it is released, of course).

4.) Again, another toughfy; I'd narrow it down to The Outsiders, A Prayer for Owen Meany, The Invisible Man, Crime and Punishment, Oedipus, Hamlet, or I, Robot.

@Zhukov: Seconded.

That said... if this was some sort of magical condition where literally the only thing I can do is rewatch something, here goes:

1. Journey, I suppose. All that life-affirming beauty and all. Maybe Dark Souls, if I'm in a masochistic/grim mood (which, considering I'm near-death, is plausible)

2. If we were talking comedies, Community. But I'd probably pick a drama. The Wire, most likely. Best drama I've seen.

3. Hmm... tough. Maybe Goodfellas, or maybe 12 Angry Men. Two of the best films I've seen.

4. Watchmen. I think it's probably been the most read book in my library. If comics don't count, I'd go with all of Raymond Chandler's Philip Marlowe books. The Big Sleep. The Long Goodbye. I wouldn't mind them as a last choice.

1: One specific instance of Alterac Valley I recall. It was indescribably triumphant against all odds.
2: Toradora
3: Boondock Saints
4: Wheel of Time (series)

Trebek.
