The squared controler wonder, Nintendo Entertainment System. It came with Mario Brothers and Duckhunt, plus the gun!

We are too old, meta. The rest of these damn kids har be born into consoles from 15 years ago! Back in our days, there were 2 buttons and 1 pad!

Hear hear! I started on an NES when I was only 5 years old and I absolutely adored Duck Hunt, I kicked duck ass with that orange plastic gun!

I got the Atari 7800 from my uncle. However the thing was very old and only lasted a year.

As for my first console that I bought myself the N64.

Well, the first console I played on was an NES. Megaman and Mario were the first two games I ever played.
First console I ever had in the house with me was an N64. I used to love Ocarina of Time to death.
First console I ever had all to myself was a Gamecube. I didn't have a memory card at first, so I played the first hour or so of Metroid Prime over and over again for weeks.
First console I bought was my Wii. I haven't come to entirely regret the investment, due largely in part to Okami.

First proper gaming machine was a Sinclair ZX Spectrum 128k... ah the glory days of waiting 5 minutes to play Chase HQ or Ghouls n' Goblins only for something to go wrong with the loading and going on a ten minute rant at my parents for something that must clearly have been their fault for picking up the phone or something because it couldn't possibly have been the crappy tape drive.

Then I had a Megadrive.
