I believe mine was the final top of the pops or one of the ones leading to it, but back then I didn't really appreciate music as much as I did now.
Attending this years Leeds fest was one event I shal not regret attending :)

ok..gonna date myself badly, but it is what it is.

My aunt took me to my first concert when I was 10. It was Huey Lewis & The News.

Others that I saw in my teens were:
Samantha Fox
Lee Aaron
Meatloaf
Bryan Adams
Def Leppard
Ugly Kid Joe
Sass Jordan
Bon Jovi
Brook and Dunn
Pam Tillis
Tanya Tucker
Rankin Family
April Wine

Not counting numerous local bands, symphonies, vocal performances etc by ametuers.
I can't believe somebody else here knows who Lee Aaron is. Personally, I only have the one album from her, and it's because Rik Emmett from Triumph is on it. I think I listened to it once.

Remove the country artists from your list and you have a small section of what a year of visits to the Cow Palace looked like for me. Now add every relevant metal, progressive, and hair band, add a touch of U2 and British pop, and you can complete the picture of my concert experiences from the eighties and early nineties.

My favorite gig HAD to be Rise Against. Went crowdsurfing to their closing song, Ready To Fall. So many bruises, such an amazing night.
I must resist smacking you out of jealousy.

Mine was AC/DC, and I watched a junkie get pummeled by security....ah how I love Gillette Stadium.

My First concert was a 13 hour long festival headlined by The Butterfly Effect and supported by many local bands.
What I like to call my first experience (it was actually my second) was seeing my favourite band of all time... The Pixies live. Ah the memories.

I saw Blue Man Group in Duluth, Minnesota. It was awesome. Even though I was in the nosebleed seats, I had an adrenaline high going until I got home; a good two hours after the concert ended. But then, it was Blue Man Group. Plus, Mike Realm opened, which was kinda fun.

Tool and their 10,000 Days Tour in 2006. My god that was such a fucking awesome show. Memorable mention would have to be Rage Against the Machine in 2007 at Rock the Bells.

Dropkick Murphys in 1999, I've seen them seven times in past eleven years.

I need to go to a show now that I think about it, been months.
