Your First Game System and Your Favorite Now?

First was an N64, but my favourite is my PC.

Asides from early game & watch and similar, my first console was a NES. Played the hell out of it until I bought an SNES.

That was my last console until I bought a PS3, and later also a PSP. My favourite game system in a broader definition would be the PC though.

First "console" in our house was the Tandy Vision, but the first one I ever bought on my own was a Sega Genesis... Still had the thing with a crate of games up to a year ago, when I lent it to my neighbor and he promptly moved out and took my Sega with him! Bastard!

Nowadays it has to be the PC... At the risk of jeers from others, I do also have a Wii as it is good for party games. Nothing like watching your friends make fools of themselves as they flap their arms trying to fly around in a chicken suit!

First: Amiga 500 Batman Pack.

Favourite: PlayStation1, on account of keeping me sane throughout my A-Level and University years. So many good RPGs for that, that I still go back to them even now.

I started out on the Commodore Vic-20, sonny. Scott Adams text adventures with two-word parsers. Currently, the PC is just too versatile to not be my favourite.

Me too... except for the Scott Adams part... I just had a Space Invaders clone. But Vic-20 all the way, then the Commondore 64. (may it rest in peace after my father "cleaned out the attic"

Current: PC

Favorite: PSX (the years 1997-2000, age 10-13, pure nostalgia)

Skipped entirely: all the SEGA consoles, SNES and N64.

In the last 10 years I've had a PS2, an original Xbox, a Gamecube, a PSP...and very briefly a 360.

Never had any version of the Gameboy, or the DS. Don't own a Wii...don't need a Wii.

PC is slowly becoming my new favorite.

Yeah...I guess this is an accurate summary of my gaming history.

My first was a Sega Master System, which I believe I still have somewhere...

My favourite is probably the PS2. At least, it's the console I have the most games for, closely followed by the GBA and DS.

First console that I actually owned myself was a Dreamcast, prior to that I would just go round to a friends or my cousins house and play on their megadrive/saturn.

Favourite? PS2 I guess, dreamcast is a close second though thanks to nostalgia.

Atari 2600 back when i was about 4.

My current Fav. system is accually my PC. I play it the most. The 3 games i'm looking forward too this year will be avalalbe on PC. (Mass Effect 3, TOR, and Batman.)

Favorite - that's more difficult.
-I spend the most time PC gaming
-I've spent the most time N64 gaming
-I loved the time I spent on my PS2

In terms of pure, luxurious, delicious nostalgia it would have to be the N64 - so much time spent with Banjo Kazooie, Perfect Dark, Zelda(s), Mario Kart, and Star Wars Pod racer.

The first I owned myself was a Playstation, the first I regularly played was a Megadrive. Current one is a PS3, perhaps for brand loyalty, perhaps because I thought it had the best library when I bought it, I'm not in the right position to say

Favourite I guess is either PS2 or DS.
