I think more interestingly, what is Link walking into? All swords have to be forged somewhere, perhaps the master sword was forged in death mountain, and Link is somehow walking into it.
Lastly, where's the rest of the title? The Legend of Zelda...and? Is it customary for promo posters to not have actual the title yet? If not, perhaps this is going to be the ORIGINAL Legend of Zelda, like, how it all began. I think somebody already suggested this, and I think its a good idea...

Ok...just because no one's pointed out the glaringly obvious form she's taken...allow me to point it out: This is the great fairy queen http://images4.wikia.nocookie.net/zelda/images/0/03/Queen_of_Fairies.png . She, or another fairy of similar ilk (meaning, bigger than a Great Fairy, but not quite a goddess, is the essence of the master sword. We've known this for a very long time, as Fairies hold great sway over the true force the sword can be used (as do the sages, and the goddesses, and the triforce, shut up). Also, we've seen the Great Fairy Sword, and gay jokes aside, it's been the most powerful weapon in the games it's been in (I believe only a Link to the Past and Majora's Mask, an upgraded form of the master sword, or it's own sword). I mean, hell, it could even be Navi...she was last seen in the Chamber of the Master Sword, so why not...though if my sword says 'Hey, Listen', I'm throwing it over a cliff, or I'm going over, cuz I've lost my mind. Then again, it has potential to open up a lot of new sword mechanics as well. I believe this is going to be a continuation of Twilight Princess as well from the look of the art, then again, this is an early piece, so maybe not. The distinct lack of magic in Twilight Princess was very noticable, as was the lack of the faries in general. Maybe they vanished for a time...who knows. Hopefully we'll find out more soon.

2, to the post: Link should have stayed left handed. Americanizing it is gay, plain and simple. Why should it be changed when they don't have a problem forcing us to use a new controlls anyway? Change the way we game, we should be able to switch of and put the 'chuck in our right hands for once.

It's probably because they don't have the subtitle figured out yet. Nintendo's done this before with Twilight Princess and WindWaker; they even had trailers for both of those games out before they revealed their respective names.gesamtkunstwerk said:
