So, my first love sucked after about 2 months. It was a good relationship at first... but it got bad.

My second love though! (who I am now with) Is awesome, still a little wacko, but having the other one gave me a reason for this, gave me more than my first love too. I love her Hate the other ***** >:[

I don't know if any of my infatuations could be counted as love... I never really got to the relationship part, so I don't think it really developed into love. Thus I have no idea. But my first infatuation was my best friends older sister. I was like 10 at the time.
Right now, I fall for pretty much every pretty/funny/smart girl who is nice to me. So I have like 7 different girls I like. And their appearence and manners are really different.

This is actually a pretty interesting thread, normally when you think about someones first love what you are imagining is exploring those feelings of affection and finding out new ways your heart works before you are too cynical to know better. But I've noticed that almost everyone in this thread seems to think of the crash at the end instead of the good times. I know that seems to be the first spot my mind jumps to as well(it was a big crash) but its interesting to know that I'm not alone in that.

Anyway, my first love was a natively Italian girl and we dated through pretty much all of high school. When we graduated she wanted to go back home so I went with her, but after an extended time of my not being able to get a work permit(and babysitting type jobs not cutting it) I was going to have to come back, save up some money and plan a bit better so that getting the permit would be easier when I went back. She decided she was just going to stay and it would be better to break things off. Rough ending to a four year run when everything was going well except outside factors.

I suppose it really made me a lot more cautious about opening myself up and letting myself have that strong of a connection to someone and blind sided me enough that it probably put down the first step of trust issues that later relationships built a ladder on with their disasters. Still, I find that when I think back on her I can't help but do so fondly.

Final Fantasy Nine. Unquestionably. It was the game that really got me into gaming. I've never been in love with a person but I reckon it probably feels the way that game made me feel when I found the last chocobo treasure. Hell, I'd settle for a relationship half that intense.

The first girl I loved died a few years ago (guess its 2. She died when we were 16, and I'm 18 now, I just dont like to count). UP till then, I fought for her multiple times (in a literal sense) to protect her. She was one of those girls that just needed protected. She never really spoke out. I mean, she wasnt shy, its just... i dont know how to explain it. I guess its easiest to say she couldnt really say no. She was like that around me and my (also her since we grew up around each other for years) friends.

But there were good times. We were awkward teens getting out of our preteens and into our new bodies, trying to figure out how to be adults and independent but still relying on our parents. We did that sappy stuff like go to the movies and get one cup and two straws, go out to hockey games, sneak around (or so we thought) her parents, even though they always knew. BUt it was more then that. we just seemed to be a match. I dont think I've ever felt the same way about a girl as I did Amy (her name). WE shared the same interests, were constantly over each others' houses. We were in separable.

Its sad to think she's gone... but thats life i guess. I moved on from the sadness, cause i cant mope forever, and am dating again. The girl I'm dating now (Meleanie) brings me a lot of happiness, but she's not Amy. Which I guess is good. I dont think i could date another girl like her.

My first, and so far only, love would be a girl I met in middle school. She was pretty, smart, funny, and a total geek. I would melt anytime I saw her.

However, due to this being middle school and me having had no idea how to talk to people, much less girls, I never acted on it. We wound up going to different high schools, and I moved to Texas soon after. I've never met anyone else that I cared about enough to date, so I'm pretty much chronically single ever since. If I ever meet her again (not too far outside the realm of the possible, since I've met a few people from those days in the last few months), I'm not letting her get away that easily.

My first love was Steam, and if anything, our relationship has grown stronger, as it has given more and more really cheap games. I love that little guy.

But seriously, I'm 16, and so I have certain scepticisms over whether or not you can really feel or appreciate love at that age, or rather just have a lust. Sure, I've liked some girls, but no, I don't think I really could love at the moment. Also, by the looks of things, it's not worth it, so many relationships that people my age last no longer than a few months - they're only in it for the sex, if you want me to be blunt. Then, they get really upset when they split - it seems like it does more harm than good.

Closest thing I've come to it at least is someone in my IT class who I met in September. We've only spoken a couple of times and even those have just been work-related topics, but there's a soft spot I've got for her that's kinda difficult to explain...

My first love was brilliant, he was everything I could have asked for in a boyfriend. But then he left me, for what seems to of been no reason at all and it tore my heart to shreds. He meant everything to me, was someone I could be myself with and had good times with. I don't dwell on it often now though, because I have to move on, he is not coming back and I guess I wouldn't take him back if he did. I guess it made me feel a lot less trusting and made me doubt myself for a while. But I had good friends to help me through it, who helped me feel better about myself. But now I know better about relationships and have learned a few lessons.

Haven't had a first love. I've thought I had love, but that was just me being excited about being in a relationship. No, I don't think I've ever felt love. But I learned, that it's ok to have expectations. You don't just want to be whipped over any girl who'll give you the time of day. I feel like a stronger person because of the experiences I've had and am confident I will find love someday. Hopefully sooner than later.

on behalf of men everywhere, I'm sorry we are so fickle and emotionally unstable. I have dumped a girl because i got scared and couldnt handle the commitment. If iwould have stayed with her it probably would've been fine but my ego got the best of me. Its one of my biggest regrets not giving her a proper chance to be happy.
