My first paycheck was for working as a computer technician in the IT department at my uncle's company. It was for roughly $12,000 (That's Jamaican dollars, about $200 US.)

33 EUR for 3 4-hour shifts at a local supermarket. I hated it there though, so 12 hours is all I did.

My first real paycheck, (not cash in an envelope like my paper-round used to be) was for my job at the call centre for roughly £400, which I still work at 3 years later (getting paid more).

Let's see- mine was when I performed in a local (not-very-well-paying) symphony..... It was either $50 or $75 US- I can't remember which...

It was quite cool, though, to actually receive a paycheck

Am I the only person who laughed out loud at that line?
No, by far no.

My first paycheque was for $1,500 (after tax) for a weeks worth of sitting on my ass

However the first amount of money I earned was a measly $20 cash for mowing lawns. Cash doesn't get taxed and I now hire a kid about the age I was to mow my lawns (only I pay him $40 for it)

My first paycheck was $150 from my dad's company to help setup company laptops to use the new network. I was only around 13 at the time, so that was nice. I think my parents made me put it in the bank.

I recently sang for a tuna commercial, and got 50 euros(around 49.25 dollars. I dont know the value in pounds) for it. That was my first pay check. What was yours and what did you do for it?
50 Euro are actually 72,36 dollar, unless you don't refer to the american dollar.
Yeah, your right. My mistake.
