Half life 1 and 2: I must have replayed these games like 10 times each.

The left 4 dead franchise: its unbelievable how addicting this game is, even with random people. Memories of long, 5 hour expert realism attempts and hilarious versus antics will probably remain with me for a long while.

Morrowind: Even after completing nearly everything vanilla had to offer back in 2004, I still return to the game to this day, enjoying both the mods and the original content which still stays enjoyable.

Gauntlet Dark Legacy: old game released back in 2002 for the last generation of consoles (originally an arcade game). Six years ago I actually lost my gamecube disk for the thing, and the game was already so forgotten that no game cube copies remained. So I just went out and bought another copy for original xbox (the controllers were better).

Stalker Shadow of Chernobyl, with the Complete 2009 mod. It changes nothing, except removes bugs, and makes it prettier.

Mega Man ZX!

both the first and second games!! I return to these games for some raw platforming, action-adventure goodness. Very kickass!

EDIT: also the Sonic DS trilogy sometimes (Rush, Adventure, Colours)

The first Pokemon games. Smash bros Melee, Tales of Symphonia and of course I've replayed some of the Zelda games.

No doubt I'm late to the party but, I just lost the game. I was doing really well until now as-well.

Tetris, Super Mario Bros, and Left 4 Dead. The best puzzle game, the great platformer, and a great multiplayer FPS. I've got a lot of go-to games, but these stick out in my head more than any others.

Age of Empires.

So much so that I bought an original boxed copy just last year, despite having the 1+2 gold jewel case, just to have it sitting on my shelf.

Robin Hood: The Legend of Sherwood

First game I ever played and has a special place in my heart.
Other games, probably Portal 2 and Minecraft.

Team fortress 2 but it kind of gets bad since i never play multiplayer because of the people on it and i have no steam freinds...What so ever.

But if anything minecraft or terraria aslong as they get constant updates and get Millions of things to do of course.

Gothic 2. I completed it multiple times and yet I could start it up right now and enjoy it as much as I enjoyed it for the 2nd or 5th time. But I stop myself because I don't think I have the time to waste on something I already know by heart. There's so many games and books out there waiting for me, I require discipline dammit!

MAG.

Even though the player counts are going to eventually dwindle, it is the game that most exemplifies what I think are the true possibilities of a game, including teamwork, comraderie, as well as shooting an opponent in the face.

I'd have to say the Devil May Cry series, I'm not going to comment on the 5th game... Until I've played through it.
