What unique gameplay mechanic have you thought up?

The Mechanic is basically, is that when you kill people in my serial killer game I thought up, you get nickname. If you slit their throat and rape them, you get the "Affectionate Jack" nickname. If you shoot them in the crouch, you get the "Ball Blaster" Etc.

You know Fniff, i'm also a deranged psychotic. But i at least know how to stomp on the face of said deranged psychosis so it dosen't bother me too much. Or anyone else for that matter.

My unique gameplay mechanic? A brand-new morality system for an RPG set in a pastiche of WW2's Eastern Front. Two scales are Dependability (gained for following orders) and Benevolence (for helping other people out). You can raise both independently, but sometimes (say, when your superior tells you to finish off wounded enemies or burn down a village or commit some other atrocity) you have to decide what to keep - your reputation as a reliable soldier or a kind-hearted and merciful man.
