I don't know about other Escapists, but my friends and I use gaming jargon when playing together. We borrow a lot from the military (i.e. call enemies "tangos", call out enemy positions in military location such as "Sniper, 9 o'clock", use "armor" to designate tanks, APCs, etc., say "Displace" to split up, "Rally point" for rendezvous, and say "Fire in the hole" when throwing grenades) because it's fun to role play, and actually works well for team communication and coordination.
But we've also come up with some of our own terms: "Crack house/meth lab" is a partially run-down building (i.e. "tangos in that blue crack house on the left), "pigs/hogs" is anyone with a MG/LMG, "streakers" are fast-moving run-and-gun enemies (i.e. people who knife in MW2), and "Grandma's house" is a building/place with a lot of enemies or enemy spawn.
Edit: Just remembered: one of my friends like to say "Deep Throat" when he's sneaking behind enemy lines.
So Escapists, do you use gaming jargon?
