How does everyone enjoy their games?
When I game I try to look at all the little details that the art directors and sub animators put into scenes; so if there's a first person camera mode, I use it a lot. Doing this really immerses me into the gaming experience.
For example: In Shadow of the Colossus I visited every corner of the map and backtracked to every local' to see what the area looked and felt like in detail, without the giant boss trying to squish me.
Because of this style of play, a single playthrough normally takes me 6-7 hours longer than a typical players run through (or so i've been told). Guess I'm just really into a games scope, and if there isn't one there, I milk it for all it's worth.
As for my specific surroundings, I prefer to play on a weekend with no interruptions; it raining at medium strength all day. Keeping the windows open to smell the crisp air the rain brings and the calming sound of the raindrops on the roof.
