Regenerating health.

I ama soldier in RL and I want to be able to take 30rds to the chest then just crawl behind a wall and wipe the rasberry jam off my face, but no.
So in my opinion, "realistic" shooters should cut that shit out, or less likely still, stop claiming to be realistic.

The games are still fun though
The alternative is Operation: Flashpoint. I could get behind O:FP if it had save points; the frustration inherent in being thrown 15-30 minutes back every time I cop a single bullet has almost caused me to murder my monitor.

OT: That real time strategy games aren't really stratergy games but tactics games and the that they aren't really about tactics at all but are more of a complex version of rock paper scissors.

I wan't a RTS where concepts like covering fire, Line Of Sight, supression and hand to hand combat a handled with some rigour.

Games that Arbitaryly limit your ammo by making it really hard to find more. Take down a guard and grab his Assault rifle? Congrats. You got 6 bullets.

6 bullets? Who the hell goes into combat with 6 bullets? That's not even a full magazine.

And yes, I'm looking at you, Deus Ex: Human Revolution. I was going to play non-violently anyway, but trying to limit my ammo in such a stupid way is just cheap. Especially when I use all of it up in your badly designed boss fights.
I love how the bosses in HR always decide to confront you in areas with conveniently located piles of ammunition.

Here, in the future, we should nitpick on all games that don't feature a noticeable degree of dynamic cloth physics.

Seriously, it's killing Skyrim for me. Planning to make a petition for the next DLC but I also planned to have a steady woman by now.

Also, romance. What's up with that, huh? Where'd THAT go? At least well-presented ones.

Nothing much for me...I find it silly when a game character can continually run at a wall (yeah, try running at a wall in real life!)

I hate it in some games when the character looks into a mirror but it just happens to be so grimy and dirty that it can't show a reflection of your person (im looking at you COD!)

Cant think of any more right now. They are trivial but I notice them and it takes away the immersion.

Silent protagonists. With the exception of games like Fallout, Skyrim and usually RPGs, why the fuck am I playing silent characters? Can we not afford an extra voice actor? It is not immersing, it is fucking immersion breaking.

Long load times between levels. Like 1-3 minute load for a 5 minute level.
Especially ridiculous when it's just the main menu screen.

Anywho, armies will use weapons from different countries. I can tell you right off the bat that M16's and M249's used by the US military are made by FN in Belgium. Colt still makes M4's, though.
Oh I'm well aware of how not all weapons used by a specific country are produced in that very country. I just meant like how in the CoD games in particular weapons you wouldn't see in the hands of certain armies IRL (at least in mass amounts) are given to them like it's no big deal. Like Soviet soldiers using French FAMAS's in Black Ops (USSR troops being issued a NATO weapon? Lolwut?!).

Yeah, I forgot to think about that. There's more than one reason I didn't get Black Ops or MW3...

Ubisoft seems not to realize that repeating the same three NPC lines every 10 seconds is irritating. Comics have been made parodying this shit, and they still do it. Someone should go explain things to them. Could be anyone, really, as long as they're not the kind of person that Ubisoft hires.

Gratuitous ammo in survival horror games.

I like when I have 8 bullets and 6 zombies, as opposed to 432 bullets and 10 zombies.

Scarier that way.

Back tracking!
this is one of the reasons why I hate old school shooters and I never finished any of the Half-Life's.
I don't want to run back three rooms to refill my health bar or pick up items!

Also non-regenerating health. I understand no re-gen if the game allows you to carry health packs or med-kits (like Left 4 dead) or what ever but when I have to either have to run back to a store or back-track to find health that I did not get the first time that just annoys me.
