Battlefield Bad Company 2 and Gears of War 3. Also Vanquish, Bayonetta, and most recently Metal Gear Rising.

Well there is always minecraft, which was my go-to game from the moment I obtained it. Recently, however, it has been World of Tanks. Mostly because I REALLY FRICKING LOVE THE GAME even though NONE of my friends play it and will usually just ignore my recommendations to do so, so it gets kind of lonely when I'm sitting there, farming XP in my M5 Stuart to upgrade to a Chaffee. I even tried getting one to join me during this past weekend's anniversary event but she skipped out even after she said she would! Oh well, back to grinding.

Dark Souls. So many ways to play, so many challenges to face, and so many douchebags to smack down in PvP. Glorius.

Journey.

My god that game is amazingly beautiful.

I play 1 - 2 hours of that, then go on to something like DMC, MGR.

Although lately it has become Journey AND Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 3.

The combat in that game is so good and rewarding.

Civ 4, mostly. It used to be FF7, but meh, I've cooled on that game recently, I think it's because my tastes have changed. Sometimes I'll go replay FFT. Xcom probably would've been my new go to, but I don't own it, because I stupidly bought it for a friend whom I thought would love it, but he doesn't. Neither does his roommate. Stupid Christmas with it's stupid season of giving.

Sigh...

I don't have one, I always think hard about what I am going to play. The only multiplayer games I play are Counterstrike and the latest COD, so I guess one of those, but I haven't played COD in a few weeks.

Fire Emblem Awakening and Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate at the moment. Couple months ago it would have been Metal Gear Solid Peacewalker and Final Fantasy VIII. Pokemon Red/Blue was also a go-to when I was younger. And Zelda, the Oracle games.
Monster Hunter 3 is mine too. Also when I get back my PS3 I will have Tales of Graces F as my second go to game.

I'm in the EXACT same position with Age of Wushu!

Counter Strike: Source for me. I much prefer other games, but I like the fact I can just jump in to CS:S and play for 5 minutes or 5 hours whenever I'm feeling a little bored. I try an cherish my favorite games and only play them every couple of years as to not 'ruin' them for myself, which I, unfortunately, have done with some of my favorite movies and T.V shows.

Barring FTL/Binding of Isaac/mobile games, because those aren't for dedicated game time, I tend to stick to whatever game I'm infatuated with at the time. However, Armored Core for Answer sporadically takes my attention. I have recently completed my 13th SS-Rank of it, meaning 100% completion, and I try to do things differently every time.

Anecdote time: Once I had my little cousin to mind for the morning, and he wanted to play the PS3, so I took out Dark Souls and asked which game he'd like to play. He chose ACfA, to my surprise, so I set him up with a new file and a tank that hardly had to move and just told him to fire when he locked on. But the funny part is he asked me whether I'd beaten it, and I said "I've SS-ranked it 10 times". To which he replied "Well...my brother has beaten it...11 times." And instead of rolling with it like a good cousin I told him flatly then and there that his brother did not even own this game and even if he did, there is absolutely no chance he had played it more than I have. It was bad enough being shown up at rollerblading, I wasn't going to lose in Armored Core fanaticism. =_=

Still Skyrim, albeit a heavily modded end product. Before that it was Diablo 2 (couldn't get into the third installment).
I think it's just the perfect balance of open world with structured story. I know others didn't appreciate the lack of depth that the others did, but I tend just to fill in the gaps.

My go to is Orcs must die 2, the only game I can continue playing all day at anytime and not get bored for a second.

Outrun 2, as odd as that might sound to you guys. It feels like it was tuned to my tastes for some reason.

Fire Emblem anything, but especially FE (2003 GBA) and Awakening. If I'm in a shooty mood, I'll play CoD singleplayer.

Civilization (5 at the moment, but 4, 3, 2 and 1 all have been there at some point or another)

And every 6-8 months I'll get the MMO bug again and start playing WoW again (for about a month before I get bored again...)

Lately it's been Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance, Gran Turismo 5 (in which I'm discovering that I may be a worthy street racer, but I'm not good enough for F1), or Terraria. Haven't come across a really replayable game since Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion... which I played quite exhaustively. I'm on hiatus from it at the moment.

TF2, because it's so damn addicting. But my second would have to be Minecraft. I always seem to just go back to Minecraft occasionally and play it.

System Shock 2
Fallout 3/NV Tale of Two Wastleands is the present fave. Fallout 3's superior content played in Fallout: New Vegas' superior game mechanics. The best of both worlds and it is beautiful, my friends.

I have had a couple over the years. Rome: Total War, Morrowind, Baldur's Gate II, (and the dark alliance series for consoles).
