What do you feel is, or acknowledge as, your greatest fear?

This must sound terribly insecure, but one of my biggest fears is not so much dying alone as it is dying forgotten. However I meet my end, I want to have done something worth rememberance or to have some kind of clear evidence that I had even existed.

Fear that some horrible karmic calamity will befall me, usually via some as-yet unmet girl. Like I'm going to fall madly in love with her to find out that (best case) she's infertile and being with her for the rest of my life will mean giving up the chance to have my own children, or (worst case) she has HIV or something and conveniently failed to tell me about it when we had sex.

I have had surgery, the best part was they gave me morphine and all the soda I could drink.

Snakes. Fuck 'em. I don't know why I have this illogical extreme fear of snakes. But I do. I live in Texas and 4 out of 5 snakes you encounter will be a hazard to your health. But even in places without dangerous snakes suck. I remember once fishing in Colorado, I looked at the log I was standing on and saw 2! snakes laying on it. I just about had a heart attack.

You answered your own question, your fear of snakes is perfectly logical.
