I don't recall having "guilty pleasures",I'm an open guy and I listen to whatever I like.I don't care what others think.
In the end I don't really care either, it's just I don't go out of my way to mention to people that I'm listening to, in my example, Owl City.

Katy Perry's songs are really catchy, but I don't really like her. Same for Gaga, and Kesha's bottle of jack song, and a bunch of others that are always on the radio here.

Artists that I probably should be embarrassed by...

Avril Lavigne, Brie Larson, The Veronicas, Lady Gaga & Taylor Swift.

Those would be my "guilty pleasures", I suppose.
Absolutely no reason to be ashamed of The Veronicas. They are amazing! Saw them live in Cleveland a year and a half ago. Was a great time except for being the only 24 year old dude in a room full of teenage girls (in a bad way)!

Oh, lord.

I would NEVER listen to this if anyone else was in the same house as me.

Love me some Gaga. Sometimes you've got to let your monster out, ya know.
Yep, that about sums up my guilty pleasure as well. Sometimes you have to act like you hate everything the pop star media churns out, and sometimes you get caught in your room dancing to Lady Gaga. Then you have some explaining to do, don't you?

I'm not really embarrassed by any of the music I listen to, but I'm sure people are more than willing to judge me just because I have this song on my iPod and have listened to it 94 times on iTunes.

So, so much. Most recently, Slipknot. I know right? Before you all slaughter me, I genuinely think Taylor has a really good voice, and the lyrics are decent if only in a really cathartic way, and it least it doesn't use the same structure as pop songs like loads of other metal bands do.

Oh, probably the Mac, even though they are awesome, they tend to get dismissed out of hand. I think people are more accepting of them these days.

Ha! I think I literally listen to 95+% of these bands on a regular basis. They would be guilty pleasures but I'm very honest with my friends that I essentially have no taste in music; does it have a beat and can I sing (badly) along with it? Then I'll take it. :p

I listen to so much music that my friends would give me funny glances to, considering that I am 20 but listen to music that is 30, 40 years older than me, and not really the usual suspects when you hear about music that old.

The Usual Suspects, BTW:
Led Zeppelin
The Beatles
AC/DC
Rolling Stones

These are the bands I am familiar with but don't really listen to unless they are the only thing on. I have been getting into Roy Orbison.

Eminem would be my guilty pleasure music. Everyone hates rap, but honestly how can you listen to some of his stuff and not get moved.

The opening of that video is just to strong to deny.

About a third of my music consists of soundtracks to movies, the Buffy musical episode soundtrack, the scores from Buffy episodes, and...

Draco and the Malfoys. T_T

THE SONGS ARE FUNNY, OKAY?

I'm such a nerd. I put my iPod on shuffle, and I'll get Nine Inch Nails followed by a song from Hedwig and the Angry Inch, followed by Dethklok, followed by the Doctor Who theme song.
