Your Horde / Alliance

So I have been in a very "Warcraft" based mood lately. I really want to get Cataclysm when it comes out, but all the whining about the Worgen's affiliation with the Alliance has got me thinking.

If you could reorganize the 12 different races in new factions, how would you do so? This is just for fun, it doesn't necessarily have to be lore driven, but the factions I am going to give will be.

So just use the following playable WoW races (or soon to be playable!!) Worgen, Night Elf, Human, Dwarf, Gnome, Draenei, Blood Elf, Orc, Troll, Tauren, Undead, and Goblin.


So here is my list:

New New Horde:
Orc
Troll
Goblin

The Douchebags (I can't think of a good name):
Undead
Blood Elf

Reforged Alliance:
Human
Dwarf
Gnome

Most Peaceful Faction (I would play as this one):
Worgen
Draenei
Tauren
Night Elf

Obviously there would be some balancing issues and such, but that isn't the point. I thought it would just be cool to make our own "teams" in a sense. So how would you divide the races? And which side would you choose?

Yep the "two" sides in eve got reaaaly messed up.

Losely people refer to the Southern Coalition (Alliance), and the Northern Coalition (Horde) nowadays.

At what time period was this? I don't ever recall the orcs or humans being on the same side except during a brief bit at the end of Warcraft III, and the Draenei were not on Azeroth at that point.

At what time period was this? I don't ever recall the orcs or humans being on the same side except during a brief bit at the end of Warcraft III, and the Draenei were not on Azeroth at that point.

at the end of RoC the alliance (Jaina's alliance) the night elves, and the orcs, were on pretty decent terms. Also iirc the TFT alliance campaign the dranai helped the blood elves take out the 3 people (the mission with the butcher) though I guess the Dranai should be moved to figure something out.

and at the end of the Horde bonus campaign, they kill General proudmore and Jaina and Thrall work something out (or begin to)

Okay, I was fairly certain there were no Draenei on Azeroth until the Burning Crusade, but whatever. It works for me.
