I was totally ripping on an old Christian prayer verse.
God made , for this, we pray.

But as for believing in God? Well why not, I may not conform to a sanctioned and mainstream ideal of what God is described to be, but I find it far sillier not to believe that there is some guiding force beyond what we see.
I do not follow a book, or a priest, but I choose to believe.

well at least you believe in a god of some sort. because if you don't believe that there's an afterlife and that to get into the good part of the afterlife than you must be good. if no one at all believed in god, than they might be encouraged to do bad things. but religion keeps a lot of people in line.
