Probably been done before, but whatever.

Rules:
1) It has to exist, or be a job that you would create (inventor of something like Facebook, or a book series).
2) Pretend that you don't need the money, but are just doing this because you want to.
3) Pretend you have all the skills necessary.
4) Try to make it semi-realistic. If you want to be the American President you have to be American, etc.

What would your ideal job be? I always say I want to be a video game developer, but I'm only a decent programmer, and I have no portfolio what-so-ever. I'm not sure I could deal with the stress, or constant pressure either, but I haven't programmed for a job before so I can't say. Also, its unfortunate that most people don't make much money from months of work.

If I had the experience, and skills I would want to give it a try. I would want the experience of being a part of a team, and of creating something for people to enjoy. Working with like minded people who I can relax with, or count on to seriously get work done. Overall, it would be fun to make a career out of developing games.

Since I'm on my way to become an electrical engineer, a job where I get to use those skills would be nice.

oh right, sorry I misunderstood. my ideal job is a post-production animator, which is what I'm working towards. if I can't become one of them, I dunno what I'll end up doing.

Professional warlock.

Failing that, probably a critic. Music, movies, and video games seem very well suited for me to review, and I have been told I have a knack for it.

Easy.

There are exactly three people in the United States with this job. They are tasked to fly supersonic jet fighters (generally they use foxbats bought from the USSR) and fly as fast and as low as possible towards the shore (Gulf of Mexico, East Coast, West Coast.) This helps test the soldiers manning radar equipment and Anti-Missile batteries on shore (because the jet emulates a cruise missile.) It is a dry fire exercise, but super freaking cool.

Yeah, I could do that job everyday of the year.

Evil Genius. Execept you know, a good one who doesnt resort to stupid Bond-like tactics to kill people? Just shoot them in the head with a gun....honestly death by aligators? pffff

That or a fighter pilot of some kind. I mean what kind of man wouldn't want to do that? Flying really fast and high with weapons? I'd fly the F-15, F-16 or F-22.

I've wanted to become a writer for a while, since I've already written a book.

However, I'm aiming to become a police officer. I'm cool with either job.

Writing. I'm actually working on my idea for a fantasy series right now, although I can't put pen to paper for a little while now as I have to address some of the issues I have with my writing. Namely, that my skills at planning out are rather shithouse.

My Ideal job would be a writer, cause its about the only thing I like to do with any consistency other then play video games and when i tried to make one it didnt work out well. But i can write, so there's that.

Or History Teacher/museum Guide. Love history and anyhting to do with it.

I don't really have any dreams and stuff, so I don't know what my ideal job would be like.

Edit: Musician, writer, painter, sculptor or something like that might be nice as well though.

I would love to be a game or film critic. I love the idea of influencing peoples decisions.
If not that then I'd wanna be a stand up comedian but im not that good at telling jokes.
