Of course, you do know there were originally plans for a Mercs 3, but it was different from the first 2. (New Characters, only one playable, etc.)

Ideally, I'd like a mercs game that reunited the original cast, but allowed more differentiation between the characters (i.e. give them unique skills instead of just one enhanced trait). Sadly, I doubt that will ever happen.

What I loved about the Mercs games is they were basically like playing a 80's - 90's Action flick, all while staying in gameplay. Favorite moment ever was when my heli ran out of ammo and so I threw it at a tank.

I usually prefer announcements for things not sequels, but seeing as those are original and more of the "I wish they made x kind of game", I'll just say what franchise announcements I'd like to see:

megaman legends 3 (and not on a handheld! PS2-level graphics would be fine as the art style doesn't exactly lend itself to modern stuff)

kingdom hearts 3 (honestly, I just want a ps2 release as it should have come out when that system was still going and I really hate all the kh games being released on handhelds I don't own, plus square-enix hasn't exactly shown the best understanding of how to make games for current-gen consoles)

bushido blade 3 (oh yeah)

-Console exclusive games amount to a monopoly that must be destroyed
-On disc day 1 dlc is an illegal scam
-Used games/software are totally legal and any attempts to impede used game/software sales will be harshly punished

Microsoft announces that:
-All future xbox games must run atleast 30 fps at all times
-No future xbox game may include out of place quick time events

Sony announces that:
-They will limit themselves to 1 firmware update per year on the PS3/Vita
-Add ps1/ps2/ps3 game support to the vita

EA announces that:
-They will turn back time and undo that ME3/Online Passes mess
-They will stop fighting against valve and let their games be released on steam

Activision announces that:
-They're sick of making so much money and will stop running their successful franchises into the ground every year

Pirates collectively announce that:
-They've unanimously decided to stop stealing stuff
