Is it good, bad?

Slow, fast?

Does it randomly stop working but is generally fast (like mine) or is it slow but dependable?

The topic came to me as my connection was just not working good about thirty seconds ago.

Mine is okay, but that's mostly the computer being way to old to perform adequately.

Mine is very fast. At least, I think it is.

It's also only rarely crapped out on me.

Slow as hell, but reliable.

Its always there, Its barely enough to play online games, but it takes ages to download stuff.

High speed cable. I can't complain, it's very stable and fast. Though it has an upload/download cap on it with a crappy point system, which is bogus. Though it's still very good ^~^!

It works well enough, unless I'm trying to play online. Consistent lagging, constant connection errors, and I can't pick up my phone without with kicking me off. Though these may all be problems with my wireless modem... damn the complexity of technology!

Pretty happy with mine. Fast and so far reliable. One thing has me a little weirded out about it, though.

An aside, I own my own modem, for some reason the installer found that strange, but anyway, when he activated my connection he screwed in this little metal cylinder to my modem's coaxial port before connecting the cable line. I have no idea what it is. And it disturbs me.

It's fast, and I have a 300 gigs limit, but the router is in the living room, and my computer is in my room, so the connection isn't that good.

Yikes. 300gb limit?

Mines rather fast, I get over 1MB/s often enough, but yeah, 300GB would never be enough for my household, we go through over 1000GB some months.

What? How? Admittedly, the only people who use the internet here are me and my father, but seriously 1000 gigs? How do you get over that?

My college has ridiculously fast internet. I've gotten over 10 Mb/s downloads before. I'm gonna be so sad to lose it when I graduate.

Running at any time in my household:
1 gaming pc
2 laptop
3 net books
1 iPod touch
1 iPhone
2 iPads
3 gaming consoles

8 people here, we all use the internet at pretty much any time of day, netflix streaming is also in constant use, Downloading stuff, heck, when I finished the gaming pc in just a few days I had to get all my steam games downloaded and that was hundreds of Gb....

I mean, we usually stay under 1000, but it happens.

It's also really easy to just be doing lot at once, I might be downloading something on my computer, browsing the internet on my iPad in the other room, and streaming music with my iPhone, its just too easy to consume

Verizon fios, so things are quite fast.

Torrents on another PC in the house, hulu on another and my TF2 game lags not a bit.

Verizion fios, destroying Optimum online and their shitty commercials.

Comcast is the devil. Okay speed but it'll cut out every few minutes.
