I have a lot of (ir)rational fears. So far:

- Large/Venomous spiders I can easily identify
- Wasps (a black wasp recently flew in my apartment, but it thankfully left a few minutes later)
- Extremely cramped spaces (you couldn't pay me enough to negotiate through a really tight passage)
- Talking to women in a nonprofessional manner

scare me the most. I wonder why I even bother leaving the front door.

Disabled people especially mentally disabled, they freak me out. That's pretty irrational I guess.
I actually have this one as well. It's not an intimidation type of fear where I'm scared of them causing harm to me.

I just have this unsubstantiated feeling that someone who's autistic, mentally ill, spergy, emotionally unstable or something along those lines will go crazy and do something destructive. Especially unsupervised (Internet is a good example)

Awkward people: I always fear encountering an awkward person or a group of awkward people in a social situation. I've also noticed awkward people tend to be pretty violent, a lot of mass killers are usually identified as awkward by people associated with them.

White Knights: I believe they are by far the scariest male archetype out there. These guys will do anything for female attention and place women on a pedestal as if they are not human.
As someone who has a mental disability and a small handful of mental illnesses (plus the whole emotional instability thing. And I'm an awkward person!), I find this quite amusing. I do get it, and I do find it a completely valid thing, but nevertheless, amusing. You'd have nothing to fear from me though, if I ever get all crazy, it's aimed at myself. Nothing (and no one) has ever been hurt as a result of my illness.

As for my own irrational fears. I'll skip past the bugs, because I think that's perfectly rational (it's the legs, I think). I fear the numbers four and eight. They terrify me, and I have no clue why.
Lol, that's pretty funny.

It's weird because two of my closest friends happen to fit the criteria exactly! I knew them before they matured into these personalities though so that may be a little different.

It's nothing personal against people with afflictions, I know they didn't choose to have them. I can interact with them normally so this fear doesn't manifest when interacting, is more of an irrational internal concern that they will do something destructive. Crazy Ex is probably to blame for that.

I'm sure you're a cool guy, take my comment with a grain of salt lol.

The thought of being in an endless empty infinite space. It's quite impossible that that will ever happen to me, but the concept just completely screws my mind over.

Ah, Crazy Ex. She tends to be at the root of many a problem. I guess so far I've been lucky, my combined afflictions make it nigh on impossible to get a girl, and the one that did cope with it for a while didn't go nuts after... to the best of my knowledge...

Anyways, don't worry, you didn't come across as obnoxious-bigot-guy, so it's all good. Heh, to be honest, it's probably smart to hold to those concerns/fears.

Something living, like a rat or a spider coming out of the toilet when I'm on it. The fact I won't be able to see it horrifies me even more.

Also opening crisp packets. Ever since my brother opened up a packet of crisps and found a spider in there, I'm terrified of the same thing happening to myself.

Driving, I'm almost 25 and don't even have a learners license yet because the idea of driving a car terrifies me.

My friends think it's irrational. I don't, but then most people on the planet seem to drive, so maybe it is.
Weird coincedence o_O
Woah, very weird coincedence indeed, driving not mentioned at all then all 3 of us mention it at once xD
That is quite weird. When people ask me why driving terrifies me, I don't usually tell them. But a major part of it is that when I was growing up, I was with a friend and his Dad driving along the motorway to go see a movie in the nearest city and suddenly he got a cell phone call. He got me to reach across from my seat and steady the wheel (since I was in the front passenger seat) while he answered it and we hit the barrier in the middle and bounced from it. I thought I was going to die and having that happen when you're eight years old is a scary thing.

He got mad at me and took me home for getting a giant scraping mark across the side of his car, I was grounded for a month by my folks.

Open skies. Ever since I was a kid, I've had a little trouble being in a big, open space with nothing to hold on to and a big, open sky above, because I have this niggling little fear that I'll be pulled into the sky and fly into space.

Yes, I know, I'm dumb.

I am extremely afraid of drowning and insects with stingers.

Kind of an odd combination of phobias if you think about it, but meh. :p

I can't say my name to outside sources over the phone. I can't even do it with my local library, and the people there know my name. I just get really paranoid for some reason.

I don't know who you are. I don't know what you want. If you are looking for a fuck, I can tell you I don't have any to give. But what I do have are a very particular set of skills; skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. If you delete this picture now, that'll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you. But if you don't, I will look for you, I will find you, and I will kill you.
You just made my week with that... Apparently they are making a new Taken movie, which I am excited for if it is true

I'm a bit of germaphobe. If I don't control myself I can end up cleaning my hands about 3 times in about 5 minutes. I just hate the idea of touching something dirty and then that dirty something contaminating everything else I touch.

I know it's irrational yet I still do it. I'm really trying to force myself to get over it.

Spiders. Any kind. Any size. Just hate them. I know the ones in this country can't possibly hurt me and are more afraid of me then I am of them (though I really wish to dispute this) but I can't help but cower away each time I see them. Maybe it's the legs or something, but I just really hate spiders. Screw the ecosystem, I just want them gone!

Going through long corridors, with loads of rooms leading into it. I'm just so paranoid that someone or something unpleasant would suddenly spring out from behind a door and get me. It doesn't even have to be dark.

I should probably stop playing Ao Oni.

(Strangely enough, when I'm with anyone else like, say, my cat, I don't have a problem with them at all. Maybe my subconscious thinks that my cat will protect me??)

Bees. Beesbeesbeesbeesbees. *shivers* Anything Bee-related or resemblance to: Bees/wasps/yellowjackets/etc.

Terrified of getting stung by one. Great Grampa was allergic to them; don't know if I am. Thus, I avoid them like the plague.

Also scared of uncovered windows and mirrors.

Windows: Keep thinking someone's going to look in, for one reason or another. Creeps me out.

Mirrors: I don't like turning my back on them. I just REALLY don't like them.
