What a brilliant thread. When I saw this, I immediately signed up, just to reply to this thread.
If I was going down in a hail of bullets then I would have a few choices in my mind,
Firstly; the absolutely classic: L'Estasi Dell'oro (The Ecstasy of Gold)
A little about this for the people who have not seen the Clint Eastwood classic The Good, The Bad and the Ugly. This is the piece of music played during the single most epic and classic Mexican Standoff in cinematography.

My second choice would have to be 'Gortoz a Ran' from Black Hawk Down. I always imagined slumped against a wall, riddled with bullets, about to die with a detonator to a nuclear devise on my hand and then the flash of a thousand suns.

Thirdly, 'Estasi Dell Anima' from Zombieland. Another slow motion piece much like in the actual film.

And I'll conclude with the fourth. Another ultra-slow motion piece where one imagines being riddled with bullets as you roar whilst firing a big automatic weapon as the people whom you care for and love make their escape at your expense.
