I'd love a pair of those,but BLUE!

I would go for a single bladed, because any one who has played knights of the old republic would know its more effective. I would like it to be green with a groovy handle like a clicky pen which you click to release the beam.

Mine would have a hilt that resembled a regular sword. the beam/blade would also be broader than a regular lightsaber and can shoot arc shaped laser projectiles when swung.

I'm sorry but you can't have a black light sabre. That's just wrong. It's a light sabre.

It worked in Force Unleashed. Besides, you can't use the argument "black is the absence of light", because I'm pretty sure that LightSabers are Plasma, not light, considering that they stop at some point and repel one another.

realistically (crap im a nerd) a light sabler, if it exists, shouldnt have a range. it should jus be a torch
fortunately, we arent realistic! lets just go with cool colours/designs people?

If it's plasma, it could be formed into a kind of "loop" using magnetic fields, similar to a solar flare just before the actual flare.
