Mine would be the manga Dragon Knights by Mineko Ohkami... it's older now, was never very popular to begin with. I think there are... three people I'm aware of online still 'active' in the fandom (meaning they turn out something related to it every seven months or so) and I know two people offline who've read it, neither of whom really care about it anymore.

I re-read it recently, and I want to discuss it and rp it and there is no one to do it with. Doesn't help that I like side-characters most, either. ;__;

Majesty and Dwarf Fortress? Do you think there's a club for people who just like these obscure games?

Because I want in. ;)
Judging by this thread, there is a club and it is called the Escapist. So that saves us some trouble at least.

Five Finger Death Punch. One of my favourite bands. They're going to be at a concert near where I live, but I'm not going because I have no one to go with :(

Starcraft 2 - I used to have a few friends that played this. One of which I had some awesome 2v2 sessions with. But now everyone's stopped playing because they either seem to have forgotten about SC2, or are just plain tired of getting curbstomped whenever they stop playing for a couple of weeks.

For me, my lonely fandom is almost any 2D game such as Odin Sphere and Blazblue. I'm also the only one out of my friends that enjoy an anime called Sgt. Frog.

OT: Gunstar Heroes. I haven't yet met one person/friend on this website or in real life that has heard of that game.
I love that game. Unfortunately, I never knew about it until I tried on Xbox Live Arcade and PSN.

I'm a complete fan of Escaflowne, I got hooked on the censored FOX version, ended up seeing the proper version and enjoying it even more. For some reason, I've never met anyone else whose even heard of Escaflowne, and some people I know happen to know some obscure anime. Oh well.

I'm a huge Death Note fan and my favorite characters with my favorite dynamic is the successors and that whole arc. And yet there are a lot of (majority of...) fans of the show who prefer L. =/ Damn fangirls...

Anime, Visual Kei, Doctor Who, and most other things I'm interested in that come from another country.

Aberration.
I love that movie. I've watched it at least 10 times.
I also used to rent Clive Barker's Night Breed so many times that my sister finally bought it for me because it was cheaper than renting it every other week.

Hell yeah! Although 3 of my friends all love Alestorm and all found it independently which was a tad strange. Still amused they covered You Are A Pirate.
They've signed my friend's bollock.
Just the one? Must write really small - or it's really huge.

There was a game called "War Games: Defcon 1" for the Playstation. No one liked that game as much as me. One friend showed it to me, but he wasn't as into it. I've never even met anyone else that had played it...I'm sure there are more, but that's the first one that came to mind.

I love L, too, but I am certanly a Near fan as well. :-D Near just wasn't as good at making the audience go O_O, and Mell, or Mello, or whatever his name is, was just kinda lame.

Hey, fellow Gunstar Heroes fan here! I have the original on Genesis and the GBA sequel. Played the sequel first and bought it brand new. My introduction to the wonderful world of Treasure. Now, I kind of want to play it again, but I could never beat either, I suck...

So what's yours? What do you love in loneliness?
Probably the one I get the most flak for liking is Jar Jar Binks. I simply can't see what's so offensive about him. He holds the idiot ball basically full time, but he's genuimely likeable, in that clumsy puppy kind of WY.

For me its pretty much just my gaming tastes. I dont like CoD (except for zombies), I only have the 06 version of Fifa. The games I like are Team Fortress 2, Fallout, Civ 5 and a much bigger variety of games. Whereas all my friends just play CoD and Fifa.

Oh hell man, i love that show. It's so funny everyone in it is insane, even after they die (with the exception of Small Paul)
They aren't insane. They are British. And maybe Irish.

Huge. It's actually quite freaky.

Alestorm, because nothing is more metal than pirates!

Anyway, I would say my lonely fandom is probably Original War, awesome game. However I am slowly converting my friends to it, but it isn't easy.

This may sound weird, but my two 'lonely fandoms' are MLP and Doctor Who.

NONE of my friends like those shows. I'm the only brony/whovian I know. Whenever I bring the shows up in conversation they always look at me like I've got twelve heads or something, or get mad because "you never stop talking about these shows".

...I think I need to get some new friends.
