Meh. L had more initiative in that he could go out and do things that he wanted to execute in his investigations but Near was the better thinker of the two, and he relied on Mello to be the one to go out and do things to further his own (Near's) investigation.sparkyk24 said:
L was the beginning and the start of it all and what not, and I'm not denying that he was impressive or a genius or anything of the sort. I just much prefer the rival dynamic to L's arc.
