We all have them. We all have our eccentricities, our bizarre thoughts, our weird fetishes or fantasies. I don't really have ADHD or ADD, but i hate silence in crowded spaces...Its unnerving. I talk a lot, its true, but silence just really gives me bad vibes. Do you have any mental oddities or eccentricities?

I have this compulsion to arm nonexistent hidden blades when I'm walking slowly, if that counts.

Oh you know, suicidal thoughts, self-loathing, depression... The usual package.

There was this one kid at school if i remember. He thought that life was basically Halo, and he was Master Chief. He went around shooting "battle rifles" at the faculty and throwing "plasma grenades" at his classmates.

The difference between him and I is only I notice my little mannerism, and I'm not just typing that.

I see life through a 1940s era silent camera (Bolex for film buffs). If I'm walking around a corner I almost see myself in third person as a camera would see it. Or I think "what would be a good shot of this?" for almost everything I do. I see situations as scenes. It's helpful but annoying sometimes.

Describing the horror/weirdness that is my mind would probably take up entire page. And get me in prison. Let's just say it's very, very, very strange. Psychonauts level of strange. Close (but far from precise) analogy would be "Milkman Conspiracy".

I tend to see life as one big experimental film (cue They Might Be Giants song) and the world as a sort of cross between a Matrix-esque computer simulation, a Truman Show setup, and a sort of personal plaything like the worlds I build in gaming.

I refuse to turn the volume knob of my car stereo to a prime number. I just don't like it.

I often think I'm invisible, and end up swearing at normal people. This results from walking into automatic doors. I walk abnormally fast and the sensors rarely pick me up, and I'm too impatient to pause and wait. I tend to wrench those damn doors open if they're not fast enough. Thus, I'm invisible and normal people are all pricks because they're responsible for the sad state of automatic doors.

I hate silence, but I also hate crowds of more than two people, myself included. In fact I'm about the most antisocial drow this side of the underdark. Go away.

Milkment throwing molotovs at you again?.

OT: I tend to have occasional internal narrations happen inside my head when I see something weird or unusual. Like JD from Scrubs..just without the daydreaming part.

All those...plus: ADHD, epilepsy, a few complexes, shyness, mental fatigue, indifference towards other peoples' well being, and countless nervous ticks (although, I've learned to control most of my ticks over the years). I know...I should see a shrink. :/

There are several that stand out but one that's the strangest is that i cant stand still.
So when ever i stand still for a few seconds i begin to sway like im in a Fighting Game, i even do weird quirks with my hands like twitch or make a claw the release.
And then fighting music begins to play in my head.

I said the analogy is far from precise. I just meant that my mind is something equally weird.

Umm I've got some OCD. Right now I'm battling a newly developed eye twitch.

If I were to tell you about all the things wrong with my brain, I wouldn't have time to eat it.

...Wait.

Well, I have a number of neuroses that are entirely situational, a number of phobias which are patently impossible (including but not limited to angry wasps coming out of the toilet while I'm trying to use it), I'm prone to bursting into song if I know one that's relevant to the discussion, and although I'm not superstitious I nonetheless avoid the number 666 at all costs.

Well to go for my mental quirks:
- I cannot be in a room at night with a window that is open (even just peek worthy open)
- When I put things away I tend to stack them in some type of order (even for my paper work)
- I have a constant soundtrack playing in my mind like some long ass movie
- When on the phone or actively thinking (bouncing ideas) I can't stay still at all or i start getting an anxiety attack

Thats a few off the top of my head, I mean I could go into the constant black humor, bi-polar syndrome, Paranoid Schizophrenia (thank god thats under control these days), mental aquity for the weirdest things, but thats really more of problem than oddity
