Your Minecraft combat strategies

Minecraft? Combat strategy? I don't get how you can ask that question. This game has some of the most primitive combat imaginable. You hit something, move, hit again, move, etc. In most cases that's all you can do.

...is it just me, or for such a cutesy and simple looking game, the whole survival/combat side is a lot more tense and difficult than even some "serious" suvival horrors? xD

Yes, it's just you. How you can even say that without a hint of irony baffles me. The combat in this game is as shallow as a kiddie pool.
