I was playing Left 4 Dead with my brother and I was going for the burn the witch achievement. She was on a separate rooftop so when I got her with the Molotov she ran off the side of the roof onto the street below. My brother and I are both standing on the edge of the roof (him on the roof that she was on and myself on the one next to it) looking down trying to find her. After about twenty or thirty seconds of looking I turn around to find her coming straight at me from across my roof all flailing and what not. Cue me screaming and running around in circles while my brother is laughing too hard to help me out and shoot her. We eventually got her and I never ended up getting pinned which was a freaking miracle. It had to be one of the funniest things that has happened to me during a game.

The Stalker (gamemode on Garrys Mod, check out the JokerIce server if you're interested. No relation to STALKER)

I used to be the best at this game. Quite literally. Only people that could truly call themselves even were hackers. I could wipe out a full team in under a minute.

My first time playing Shadow of the Colossus. On the third bugger, I was crouching on his sword. As he raised it, I accidentally let go of the grip button, was launched into the air, and landed right on his head, and proceeded to stab him for massive damage.

Good times were had by all. Except the colossi.

I've got a few. On Halo 3 before I got bored of it, I played Griffball and had a 40 kill streak or something like that...

Took out 50 Terrorists on a Terrorist Hunt in Tom Clancy's Vegas 2 after my brother got pasted against a wall.

In Icewind Dale II, my party managed to go through and save the Bridge (first part of the game before you get into it; you're not missing anything) without taking any damage whatsoever.

19 kills on Counter-Strike: Source as the last man standing on Office with UMP. Much win and gratz were given over microphone next round.
In hindsight, the next five rounds I was the first person to die...

Finally, I had a rampage around Bowerstone in Fable II for five hours, killing and pillaging everything I could.

I do not really have epic moments, just amusing ones, like my tendency to say terrible one-liners while playing a game.

Example: Fallout 3

*Blasts Super Mutant to death with a shotgun, then Bloody Mess kicks in*
Me: "Well, he "fell apart" under pressure..."

Killing dogs (same game)
Me: "Sit." BLAM!

...I am a terrible person.
Me, in Oblivion, when seeing a dog:
"Sit." *lines up arrow shot* "Staaaay..." *lets arrow fly* "Play dead. Good dog!"

I'm also prone to singing Andrew W.K.'s "Get Ready to Die" while waiting through load screens before battle on Empire: Total War.

But my single most epic moment in gaming? That would be the time I racked up a 1 TRILLION dollar net worth in Capitalism II just to see if I could (the game uses a long string for the money data, I guess.)

I got a few on City of Heroes.

I was an Empathy Defender on a small, low-leveled team in City of Heroes that got caught out in the open during a Rikti invasion. During this time, we hit just about every imaginable aspect of the Heroic Last Stand, including me getting a second wind, reviving myself, and laying waste to those around me. Granted, we all died, but only after a helluva fight.

Opposite situation on a team with my Dark Defender. We, as a full team of eight, tried to take on enemies way too tough for us, and seven out of our eight got killed...just in time for me to pull a few of our corpses back, run to the middle of them, and use a Howling Twilight AoE ressurect. Somehow, we managed to finish the map after that.

And solo, I'll always remember when, with the same Dark Defender, I took on a Giant Monster by myself and survived. I couldn't kill it, of course (couldn't do nearly enough damage), but I still had an adrenaline rush and "Fatal Duel" from the Guilty Gear games playing through my head...

In Fallout 3,when I had blown up Megaton, after raiding first,of course. It was incredibly easy, but that mushroom cloud emitting it's luminous glow throughout the battered wastelands brought tears to my eyes. And satisfaction...

Defeating Penance, the optional ultimate superboss on Final Fantasy X...

To put this in perspective, the hardest mandatory boss you'll fight is Braska's final Aeon before completing the game, he has 120,000 HP.

Penance has 12,000,000 HP and took the best part of an hour to kill.

Grand Theft Auto IV. I called Brucie for him to pick me up in his helicopter, so I stole a scooter and drove to where he landed on a baseball diamond on one of the smaller islands. I took the scooter off a 3-stair jump, manged to catch huge air and fell into his helicopter blades. Needless to say, it is more epic if you saw it first-hand.

AKA: DEATH BY BRUCIE

Finishing Boss Rush in Super Smash Bros Brawl as Charizard. Especially when I managed to avoid Tabuu's attacks but one.
In the same vein, surviving on Very Hard mode in Classic mode as Lucas, with one life left and at 567% damage.

There was also the time in Resident Evil 2 when at the final FINAL battle (Scenario B) I had one rocket launcher ammo left, used it.....didn't kill the boss, so I whipped out my submachine gun which was on 40% ammo left and blasted all I could at it screaming in fury at it....and I killed it.
With 2% ammo left on the clip. Badass.

mine would have to be from ninja gaiden II... running into a group of about 20 ninjas and killing them all in a swift dance of death without taking a single hit >:D

that or in a flight game like ace combat pulling some awesome aerobatic maneuver to completely own another plane.

I was playing Call of Duty 4 on hardcore TDM and one of my team mates was talking all sorts of trash at our own team. Going on and on about how much we suck because we didn't cover him while he went on some idiotic suicide charge into the main building on Vacant. He was pissing and moaning every time his stupid ass got shot and blamed it on his team.

During one of his conniption fits, I saw him getting ready to climb into one of the windows, so I figured I'd fuck with him a bit and blind him with a flash grenade. I toss the grenade while he's climbing into the window, but instead of blinding him, it hits him in the head and kills him. He was screaming obscenities while his pre-puberty voice was cracking through to the chorus of the rest of the team laughing their asses off. I think he may have given me negative feedback, but sweet fuck it was easily the best online experience I have ever had.

I played a terrible game in Halo, I only got four kills. Consolation Prize? 4 double kill medals, 1 for every kill, all of which were more than 2 minutes apart. I have no idea how it happened.
