Sacred 2

That game to me is better than Diablo 1 & 2 ever thought about being. Fuckin love the game - Own it on the PS3 and the PC.

But the escort missions make me rage enough to go postal. Damn idiots go running screaming into a group of a 100 mobs.

On Topic. The Guildmaster from Fable 1.
Guildmaster: "Hero, your health is low. Do you have any potions? Or food?"
Me (in my head): *stab whack fireball cut chop hack* "WHO HAS LOW HEALTH NOW, MUTHAFUCKA?!"
I agree, he was very irritating.

Moria from Fallout 3, she had an annoying voice, her quests were difficult (at the low level you first encountered her) and she didn't even give you any good rewards
The big reward is at the end, when you get a free perk based on how well you actually did, and your answers. The quest chain is well worth it, dood. Plus, achievements for the whores!

For me, it's the guy from Morrowind. The one that asks your class & sign. He's so insipid, sort of like the game itself.

The Owl from Ocarina of Time. Always showing up in-between dungeons to give an overly-long explanation of what lies ahead. If you've already read it before and are mashing the A button to scroll through it as quickly as possibly, chances are, you'll accidentally select "Yes" when he asks if you want him to repeat everything.

I lol'd.

As to who I hate the most, I'd have to nominate Ezio Auditore da Firenze, of Assassin's Creed 2. I know he's almost universally liked, but I just can't get behind a hateful promiscuous hit man.

Malik out of AC 1, the guy with one arm who can't help but continually remind you that you're a complete bastard for making him lose his arm and getting his brother killed. He needs to get over himself and start doing some actual killing.

I really didn't like him until he finally got over himself towards the end. Fallout NV npcs always seem to get in my way and piss me off. Boone is good and all, but even with unlimited ammo he sometimes charges in with a machete to block my shots and get killed.

There's a reference to that in Fable 2 (I think) where it is said that the Guildmaster was found brutally murdered with the phrase "Your health is low. Do you have any potions? Or food?" carved into his forehead

Every character you have to escort in every game ever.
the escort quests in Oblivion were quite easy IMO.

Pick up char
select destination on fast travel
char says "ok thanks for the escort" and we're done
even if you have to foot it a bit... they still can't die.

How can you beat that for an escort?

Roman from GTA 4 for his obsession with "Big American Tee-Tee's", it became tiresome very quickly.

Sofia Lamb from Bioshock 2 or being such a selfish crazy *****.

Ambassador Udina from the Mass Effect series for what I imagine are obvious reasons. I mean seriously, even Evil characters must surely hate him?

Loghain from Dragon Age: Origins, I mean seriously, he deserved to die.

The woman from Dead Space, she was whiny, annoying and of course, a bad guy in the end.

Wynne from Dragon Age. Something about her...
I got fed up with her criticising every single thing that I did, even when I am playing as a bloody "good" character.

I never found them too difficult, and the rewards for the optional objectives were pretty great.
I agree, especially the Shady Hat and some Stealth Boys.

that kid that was in charge of Little lamplight caverns in fallout 3, mayor Mcreedy I think it was

I don't care if he was a Kid I wanted to strangle the little basterd and this is coming from somone who usually has chronic hero/do-gooder sydrome in games

funnyly enough in Bioware games I tend to not mind the bitchy charachters that everyone else hates like Miranda from ME2 or Morrigan from dragon age
Oh God yes. McCreedy deserved a painful death. I also agree with the Bioware comment, I rarely dislike the "annoying" characters that we are seemingly "supposed" to hate. I wasn't a fan of Morrigan or Miranda at first, but I did like them the more I played.

Funnily enough she is one of my favourite NPC's of all time. Although she wasn't when I first came across her and she told me that God sent her.

Once you talk to her a bit she becomes a fascinating character I believe, although I can see why some may dislike her.
