mine is Vega (Claw) from street fighter

his history sais he was quite normal until his father died (while he was a baby) and his mother had to remarry for Vegas sake. (financial security) his stepfather was abusive and murdered his mother. Vega witnessed the incident and immediately slaughtered his step father in retaliation .. the incident left him scarred

his mother was VERY beautiful ... and his step father was hideous .. his mother marred this hideous man so Vega could receive the best .. what any mother would wish for her son ... vega was in his teens when this happened and without proper guidence he immediately associated ugliness (step father) with evil .. and beauty (his mother) with good ... that's why he saved Cammy, even though Bison forbade him to ... so he's not evil .. just misunderstood ... it's not narcissism ... it's misguided association

For me, it would have to be Error from The Legend of Zelda II: Link's Adventure. His only line of text is "I am Error." This led many people to think that the character's dialogue was nothing more than a programming glitch. But what if it's not? Think about it. It opens him up to be one of the deepest characters from that period of gaming.

Error is a philosopher. The greatest philosopher in the LoZ world. He knows that, as a man, he is imperfect, he has flaws. Therefore, he is Error. He relinquished his given name so that he could show that he had accepted his humanity, and that others should cast off their given names and accept themselves for all that they are; Errors.

Mine is my first, most beloved, fallout 3 character, Luung. He ended up killing, robbing, and cannibalizing most of the people he came across. He was considered a "scourge of humanity" but in reality he just had severe anger issues. He was also a bit of a psychopath. Poor misunderstood Luung.

But, similarly, anyone who achieves perfection is an error unto themselves. Maybe a happy error, but an error nonetheless. Where, then, do we stand? When we are both errors in perfection and not?

I had something ready to post, but the OP confused me, and every other post seems to be on something nonsensical.

And here I was, ready to defend Shirou Emiya. Eh, some other time.

Beautiful.

Granted, his name is actually "Errol," but I don't want to step on your toes too obviously.

We are Error, we are Legion.

Embrace Error.

Breathe in the Error.

OT: G-Man. He is impossible to understand, so he is misunderstood by all.

He is also not Error.

Harold in Fallout 3... He was a very likable character in the first 2 games, but somewhere in the development of Fallout 3, he just fadede away.

You;ve never played Portal? Go play Portal. If you don't know the plot, I really can't give my case without offering some massive spoilers, and I don't want to do that. So yeah. Play Portal. Find out about GLaDOS for yourself. (And it's a her.)

I'll go with Shinji Aragaki from Persona 3, He feels bad about what he's done and acts like a complete jerk to stay alone in his attempt to forget it.

The Witch is L4D.

She's obviously distraught and in some considerable pain at being torn away from all she knew in life, and looks to be ashamed of her now monstrous appearance, and gamers take glee in shooting her in the back of the head with a shotgun.

You make me sick!

Voldo from Soul Calibur. A lot of people just dismiss him as a creepy weirdo S&M freak. However, he's actually an Italian creepy weirdo S&M freak.
