Basically what the title says, what is the moment when you have been the most nervous in your life?

Mine was on Monday, when I asked a girl I had liked since I the night I really got talking to her a month or so ago at my friend's party.

I had finally come to a decision to do and I took her away from the rest of the group of my friends and admitted that I liked her. She then admitted that she liked me, so I took the next step and aked her out. She said yes, and then the bell for the next lesson went. Perfect timing.

Twas only once I got back to my group of friends did I realise that some girls had been watching us the entire time. When they heard the outcome I got a lot of "SQUEEEEEEEEEEEE"s and a lot of hugs.

Twas only when I got into the next lesson for a test I hadn't revised for that I realised how nervous I had been; my hands were shaking.

Now I ask: what is yours?

(BTW: I did search and nothing like this came up for me)

I'm getting more and more nervous about Tuesday when I start uni. I feel like I'm going from primary to secondary school all over again. Being one the youngest in the whole uni cos my birthdays in August... :(

CAUTION: Sexual References ahead

I was at my highschool camp when a chick went into my tent at night while I was asleep (thinking it was her boyfriends tent) and she lied (or is it lay'd) down beside me while my back was turned to her, and she slipped her hand down my pants and... you know (still thinking I was her boyfriend) At that point I woke up and she freaked. the following conversation was the most nervous and awkward one I have EVER had.

I don't talk to her anymore.

First time trying to direct fire from an 81mm mortar, had a little training with it, trying to place rounds on target and not putting them into anyone I knew, that was nerve racking as the first one cleared...and no one died

First ever evening going out with a girl... I was nervous, but it was a girl I have been knowing for 4 years at that time, so I couldn't screw up that much.

The first time I played a guitar in front of anybody at a school talent show. There were a few of my friends there and the rest I didn't really like or I just didn't know well.

I came first but I think a lot of the crowd disliked it because it was mainly metal riffs and solos. Some douchebag of a girl kept shouting out requests like 'WONDERWALL!!!!' as if i was a jukebox machine.

Being blatant, the first time i felt a girls tits in and outside the bra when I was 15, which wasnt actually that long ago, but it was more than half a year ago that I did it. After that though I was never really nervous with anything sexually, luckily. But at that moment my heart was pounding so fast she probably heard it.

Haven't had one yet, but probably will have one on the 29th September when I'm waiting to be told if I passed my driving test.

When i finally decided to make a move on my buddy's sister. I had struggled and struggled with it.. She had made it fairly obvious to me she was interested (we had taken a couple of road trips together, and looking back she had all but begged me to bone her, but i'm always the conservative), but i had the whole "never ever date your best friend's sister" philosophy going.. She was hawt, though. :p

At any rate, i used to go over to his place after school/work, and i would hang out with my buddy until 11 pm (when he had to leave for work) and then.. i started coming up with excuses to stick around after he left.. Like we would start watching a movie, and then he'd leave and i'd say "well, i'll just finish this up and then i'll go" (he still lived at his parents place), and then she would come down and hang out with me for a couple hours.. Usually we'd just talk, or watch a movie....

Well, the one night... I finally decided that i was going for it.. We were sitting on the couch, and i could tell she was TRYING to lean her head on my shoulder, but was hesitant, and so i started to try to lean MY head on her's, and so she would try to lower her head, and i would try to lower mine.. and eventually we wound up lying parallel to each other, heads side by side, otherwise bodies in opposite directions, on the couch.. Don't know HOW we didn't touch :p

We were lying there in the dark talking, and my heart started pounding, and i reached over and started stroking her hair mid-sentence.. We both just stopped, and i whispered "I really like you" and she whispered "I really like you too" and that was that.

My heart has never soared like it did in that moment.

That must have been awkward...

OT: I am amazing with girls so none of that I-was-with-this-girl crap. Basically, I was doing a speech about being able to dye your hair without the school getting their nipples in a twist. Yeah, I had to refrain from using my usual language as there were parents there.

Currently right now. I'm applying for a film school, which is my dream place (It's a uni, but... not a uni) to study and I'm worried about fucking it up big time.

Incredibly :p... Though the SECOND most nervous moment of my life was the night that my buddy FINALLY found out that i was dating his sister.. (We had agreed it was best to keep it from him, because he did not handle his sister dating very well)...

She had snuck out to go for a late night walk with me, and as we came back to her house, we started making out something fierce on her front door step.. And about 2 minutes in, suddenly the door popped open and there was my buddy in the process of trying to let the cat out. He just glared at us, and then quietly shut the door.

All night long i couldn't sleep, worried about what would happen between us. He was notorious for his temper. The next day he simply called me up like he normally did and invited me over. We sat quietly on the couch playing Playstation 2....Nothing was said, and nothing was EVER said about the incident.. He never openly acknowledged that his sister and i were together. Ever.

The first time I called a girl to ask her out. I wrestled with it for about half an hour, must have picked the phone up and put it down about ten times. Finally called her. She already had a boyfriend. We chatted for about half an hour, and surprisingly remained friends throughout the rest of high school.
Never had trouble asking girls out after that, it turns out rejection isn't nearly as bad as you think it is unless you're a little ***** about it.

Probably first date. Didn't end well, but that was cool. All you really need is the experience anyway, so you've got the balls to do it a second time. Only gets easier from there.

the morning of my exam results, that told me whether or not i was getting into uni.
that was fucking terrifying.
that or my first job interview. i got so nervous, i said under strengths "i smile a lot" and weaknesses "i like cooking, but i'm sure everyone does *laughs*" and both are LIES.

edit: i was applying for a job that i had no chance of ever getting really, and it was from my first application... but still, buggering the interview didnt help.

Good luck, I just passed my theory test today so it won't be long until I have to take my practical test

Before every situation I get really, really, nervous. I don't know why, but its something that I've gotten used to.
