Tried to get him with the ballistas? One hit from a ballista shot takes him almost completly down... one more normal hit and hes dead.

Spelunky. Kill the alien lord to get the jetpack, and then immediately jump down, misjudge the amount of fuel that I had left, run out of it, take fall damage, and then got stun locked by a yeti. I had seven fucking hearts.

Europa Universails 4, and the god damned cheating computer. I love the game and the strategy in it, I love how you can't just brute force your way to world supremacy and no matter how big and powerful you are you are always in need of more manpower and your nation always has people that want to rebel.

But my most recent rage quit was because I was England and had managed to take the entire UK islands and was planning to take France with a coalition of other nations but even though I outnumbered them by a lot and had generals commanding my troops the French still kicked my ass. It wasn't even close, and there's only so many times you can suffer a total rout before you start to think the game just wants to screw you over.

Dota 2. Some assbag was trolling everyone, teleported me onto a cliff so I couldn't get down then suicided the courier so I couldn't buy a teleport scroll. So I had to 'rage quit' the game in progress. (either way I would have been marked as abandoned.)

More or less decided to stop being playing Dota 2, though it certainly feels more like a "jade-quit" than a rage-quit.

Really angry? Probably the last time I went 6 wins in a row on the 7 win daily in Hearthstone, and then proceeded to lose like 10 in a row.

Battlefield 4. Notwithstanding about a dozen useless snipers on my team hiding on hilltops, missing everything they shoot at (so, pretty average recon players then...), following a supply guy who I know has ammo around the map from one end of the map to the other spamming the "give me ammo" button to no effect, before resorting to the "pistol and knife dance" right in front of him and he finally gets the idea and drops an ammo pouch. Not the big ass box of rockety goodness, but the little pouch with about two mags worth in it. By now we are hemorrhaging tickets because nobody is anywhere near the flags, and I'm hemorrhaging patience almost as fast. At £55 a pop, I can't afford to smash PS4 buttons off the nearest wall, so I bailed instead...

While I wasn't particularly ragyyy, I rarely am, I did quit a game because it was pissing me off.

Picture this! I haven't played league in awhile, I hop on Lulu. She's my go to girl when it comes to supporting. I get a nice, friendly Vayne. We start playing, she dies to their Thresh twice and can't tumble for shit. I don't say anything, and she instantly blames me for it. Having already regretted playing league again, I quit while I'm ahead before any more bullshit is thrown my way. I just can't handle team games sometimes.

My last one (that I remember at least) came out of Dota 2. I'll just preface this by saying that Wisp isn't a good solo support. Someone randomed him, I swapped. I got Weaver, so I gave it to the guy.

Things go well up till we get wiped because Void went into high gear after SB decided to target me and only me. Didn't help that our Clinkz was an absolutely helpful twat. By that, no communication and just shittalking in general. And suddenly everyone joins in except the Sniper, who was a friend of mine. Brilliant. Now this game is a 1v8. Now I'll never touch Wisp in pubs unless I'm in a stack consisting of more than 2 people.

Oh well, that is Doto for you all. After that, I seem to have found my inner peace and have never faced anything quite like that again, even in other games.

Kerbal Space Program, the typical "spending an hour painstakingly building a ship to have it flip over and explode at launch" thing.

I've tried but he just crashes through them before I get the shot off. I just can't get enough separation to heal or get a ballista shot off. I came back to try it again after taking the Dragon Rider down pretty easily but he just wasted me.

Lost what should have been an easy defense in Golmund Railway Rush in BF4. We had done surprisingly well on offense thanks to these two friends who were tanking, so I expected a fairly standard defense when it was our turn. I alt-tabbed out on the loading screen, came back half a minute later, and saw the next map we were defending on Paracel Storm Rush. Anyone whose played BF4 Rush knows Paracel Storm Rush is a complete joke for the first two points, it's a guaranteed win for defenders unless they don't deal with the transport choppers or patrol boats. I alt-tabbed in to see both objectives armed, most of my team dead, and the attackers only took maybe five deaths.

I quit because I knew it was going to be a bad round.

Torchlight...they fucked the save system so hard in that game...I powered through 4 half memory wipes...first time wasn't so bad cause it was near the beginning of the game, second happened when the game crashed on me and I lost about 5 sidequest dungeons of time didn't lose much outside of gold, 3rd I went back 3 hours of gameplay and the last I got an awesome weapon and saved a quit and the next day (this is after about 7 hours of gameplay...weekend) I lost ALL MY PROGRESS and went back to where I first lost 3 hours of gameplay!

total game time lost? 12 hours....fuck this game, if you cannot get your save system correct then STOP MAKING GAMES YOU TWATS!

Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep... F***ING MYSTERIOUS FIGURE!!!

He's easily the cheapest bonus boss in the entire series. The guy staggers irregularly, ignores invincibility frames whenever he feels like it, and can kill you in 2 hits, sometimes even if you have the Second Chance and Once More abilities. I literally tried a hundred times before quitting for a good while, and when I got back I decided I'll just powerlevel to max and beat him then, and I finally did, by the skin of my teeth.

Last of Us.
Sooo.. you got me trapped in a room with the only exit blocked by a hoard of zombies with one that is bullet proof.
Oh yeah all of them are alerted.
Fuck that shit.

Normally I don't rage quit, once a game pisses me off enough I reach for the memory editor and dll injection tools.
Unfortunately this was on a PS3, also why I was having trouble shooting past.
So rage quit.

I don't often ragequit.

A few months ago I was playing Final Fantasy 9, and had been playing for a few hours without saving the game (yeah I know). Suddenly the power saving device my wife had hooked up to the TV turns the TV off because it had been a few hours since it detected any input from the remote. I turn it back on. Notice the console is off. Rage as I realise that the console is plugged into the power saving device, so it shut down too, and I lost all my progress. I haven't actually gone back and played it since.

IRL ragequit? Our first son was pretty intense when he was a few months old and teething. Several weeks into sleep deprivation, I just couldn't handle a screaming baby at 3am. I just put him in his cot, walked out of the room, and rage punched the computer desk... splitting the desk in half. Note to self, trained black belts need to keep their emotions in check.

The last case was The Last of Us after getting the shotgun and going through six Clickers. I skipped the last two though, wanting to conserve further ammo. I get grabbed by a regular Infected and then suddenly out of nowhere I get grabbed AGAIN by a Clicker. While in the middle of getting grappled by another enemy. Through an area I couldn't get back into, THROUGH A WALL! It then causes the game to freeze up and later on I saw that it corrupted my save. I sold it after that, Clickers were OP as hell for being emaciated near dead zombies with less flesh on them than a chunk of beef jerky.

Hmm.. I guess the most recent one was in Team Fortress 2.

I was on the blue team and played as the Pyro. It was the 'Control Point' map where red has that little shelter in front of the three gates, and the first control point is right there. Also where engineers like being on the shortcut's edge and putting their sentry there where once blue takes a right- the sentry blasts them away.

Anyhow, the WHOLE game was demomans spamming their bombs into all three gate openings so blue couldn't make a move. They had a sentry right in the middle of the lane, and one within the house with that gap to shoot through. As a pyro, we had no medics to ubercharge. If that wasn't bad enough, the red team taunted us through chat with such foul words. Whole game was bomb spamming us and no one could do anything.

I raged quit when we finally had a medic uber us, only for the host to kick him and kill me with a taunt to follow. So let me get this straight... when we finally had the chance to do something- the host on the other team kicks the medic and kills the Heavy only to taunt him. Yea, no thank you. I was to upset to play TF2 for the rest of the day.
Wow, that's a real dick move by the host. It's bad enough when people stack teams, but abusing admin powers like that goes beyond the pale. Mind telling me which server it was so I can add it to my blacklist?

I'm not sure if this qualifies as a rage quit, but I had to take a break from War Thunder recently. You see, they're doing a promo right now that awards players golden eagles (premium currency that you normally have to shell out actual money to obtain) for winning your seventh victory of the day. I had a day off from work, so I decided to do a bit of a marathon run and snag some eagles. I logged in, picked my planes...and proceeded to get a merciless beatdown.

Apparently, War Thunder's matchmaking hates me. Nearly every single team I ended up on consisted of clueless window lickers. Time and time again my team would get curb stomped within three to five minutes because nobody was going for the objective. While I was frantically trying to shoot down bombers decimating our ground forces, my teammates were pulling truly bone-headed stunts like trying to turn fight with I-153's. I finally threw in the towel after playing for four hours with only two victories to show for it. I'd rather miss promos and play during the off hours if it means having halfway decent matches that aren't populated by utter idiots.

Trying to beat the Nabaat DLC in FF13-2. I'm max level in everything but one role and I still can't make any progress. That's bullshit.

And here I wanted to get her before the end of the game so I could make the most out of the money. Silly me!

Banner Saga. It seems like a good game all things considered, but it royally bumfucked me at every turn, and when I thought I had gotten the most rotten luck, I would reload, try a different route, and the game would bend me over an extra 15 degrees for my troubles.

There's just no way to win at anything in that game. You can make all of the best choices and still be at the head of a starving pack of chronic depressives on a death march, with half of your main characters having fallen off of cliffs or beaten each other to death with boat paddles and the other half suffering from gonorrhea and hacked off limbs. And maybe that's the whole point. You can't really win at the end of the world, can you? Doesn't mean it didn't piss me off!
