the f2000 gun in mw2 makes a fapping sound when it fires, except with more of an echo. Like rough sex in an empty warehouse.

I miss the MW2 gun sounds. The AK47 sounded like a dragon sharpening its nails on Zeus's bike chain. In Black Ops the guns sound like someone lighting bangers.

AS miracle of sound said, the hit sounds in the F.E.A.R. series are extremely realistic and satisfying.

Personally I hate black ops. In order of greatness from least greatest to greatest: Black ops, Mw2 tied with World at War, BFBC2. BFBC2 owns all.

I prefer COD to Battlefield, but Bad Company 2's sound destroys ANY other game. Except maybe Dead Space.

True that. Is suppose I like Battlefield because of the vehicles. I love flying. I love shooting and flying. I love shooting at flying things while flying. The vehicles, and the massive maps.


I should say in relation to the topic that the hit marker sound for knife kills (in bfbc2) is so insanely satisfying...

Go play Battlefront 2. Set the game to Hoth: Hunt. Enter the right cheat code, play as the Wampas. Every time you pummel somebody, you get a comic book style BLAM KAPOW! splash notation.

I loved doin that. I never had to enter a cheat, though. I had PC version.


Amazingly, wampas had a tendency to lose most of the time.

That weird....I don't know...."pffft" sound in COD multiplayer. Yeah, OK, it's not really a "pfft", but how the hell would you describe it?

I know what you mean. I am not the biggest fan of Call of Duty's multiplayer, but that sound is awesome.

I liked the split second freeze in Zelda Twilight Princess after you killed an enemy...

It's good I'm not the first to mention Zelda, but seriously, hitting an exposed boss in ANY Zelda game..

It just makes the GRALGARLG! every hit, right?
You just keep hitting again, mashing that sword button until the boss recovers.

In Call of Duty World at War the multiplayer has the best headshot sound. It's like a wet pinging splattering crunch.

That is the best impression of it I can do... Nothing more satisfying than leveling your Mosin Nagant at a German from across the field, taking the shot and hearing that...

The sound a Creeper makes when you kill it in Minecraft, as it explosively hisses it's frustration and disappointment in not being able to rape all your shit as you shove your diamond sword down it's throat...

And then it drops some sulphur... Thankssss.

Killing floor has this sound that will always accompany a succesfull headshot, together with the bang of the gun there's this smack. Quite short and snappy. I don't really know why but its incredibly satisfying

Jesus the headshots were so freakin' satisfying. A delightful splat no matter what weapon you use!
