Recently (as in, about ten minutes ago) I tried to use an ENB mod for Skyrim, knowing beforehand that it wasn't likely to end well. The vanilla game runs at a fairly miserable frame rate on my PC as is.

So, imagine my surprise when I found that the mod had, in fact, worked as intended! Less surprising: that my framerate was now somewhere below the 5fps mark. Then, after about thirty seconds, the game simply exited with nary an error message to signify something had happened. I think my computer may have been acting in self defense.

So, with that failure still fresh in my mind I ask: what was your most botched modding attempt?

I've had a few notably amusing item/mob ID clashes occur with my Minecraft mods. Like when the Animal Bikes mod resulted in my worlds spawning villages full of technicolour wolves instead of Squidwards. Or when I had an alcohol brewing mod and a pet bat mod installed at the same time, except the item IDs for the apple bushel (for making apple cider) and the bat pet were the same, so trying to fill a bucket with apples would create a bat.
