Since I got that achievement, my skill as Dormammu and Iron Man took a turn for the useless, so I'm sort of holding "tryouts" for new Spencer companions. So far X-23 and Storm are looking like contenders, with Haggar, Chris and maybe Taskmaster being my fall-back plans.
And Arthur, for the lulz. When you're told you lack discipline from a guy in his underwear, you know you've got a badass on your hands.

my current team is:
dante: easy to get used to, hard to perfect, and really satisfying to play as.surprisingly long-range melee attacks, allowing ya to catch you're opponent off-guard. also, coolest hyper combo in the game: JACKPOT! also, usually use jam session as assist: good anti-air, and it reminds me of 'captain corridor' from MvC2.
deadpool:fun character with funny quote's. strong ranged move, strong hyper combo's, strong melee, very fast, very hard to catch: all make a good character. also, picked him just because he's hilarious.
spider-man: i know he's a weak character, but he's very fun to use, and can deal a lot of damage if ya get a good combo going. use web ball as assist, especially if you've got your opponent in a combo, so you can deal more damage. also picked him because A:he's funny, same as deadpool and B: second coolest hyper-combo in the game: MAXIMUM SPIDER! HAVIN' FUN YET?
if i wasn't using spiderman, I'd use amaterasu, because she's quick, has great hyper combo's, and her assist 'bloom' is handy for keepin' your hyper gauge up.
also, I'd like to ask: does anyone know if there's a list for character rankings yet? I've heard that Dante and deadpool are both God-tier, and spiderman and thor are fairly low-tier, but does anyone know what the top-ranking characters are?

But i just can't understand the advanced offense, i try my best to use a lot of moves but when i look at my performance it just says that i only use base offence.
Oh yeah, my reasons:
Dante: Quick, strong, and just plain awesome. I din't put much thought in why he is on my team, i just like him, and he is very good.
Ruy: Because hadoukem is the most memorable move in every street fighter game i ever played, me and my friends would just see who could do more hadoukens, and i once beat a street fighter game using only that on the last fight, when the fight was over the skin of my left thumb was falling of.
Ammaterasu: She is the protagonist of my favorite game, she had to be on my team. And them i discovered that she is a good fighter and that i can keep my enemy from coming near me.

Akuma, Spider-Man/Amy (depending on what I feel like doing), and Iron Man. Strength, switch out to amazing amount of medium combos, and good assist.
Trying to figure out someone to use instead of Iron Man, and I don't want to do the overused Sentinel or Hagar. Cap is great for all around and Viewtiful Joe is terribly underrated, but neither really fit my play style. MODAK is amazing if you can get his combos timed right. Shuma will most likely be it in the end.

Ammy is pretty much a master of all trades, she has a great projectile, and her ground combos are insane at keeping the pressure on, Okami Shuffle is also one of the best supers in the game.
X-23 is a rushdown master, her aerial specials are insane at closing distance and her ground specials can mix up between a low, high or grapple lunge, which all combo into her Super, not to mention she's probably the quickest character in the game.
Morrigan has a great mixup game, she glides instead of dashes, so her attacks can punish low blockers very well, her shell kick also breaks through armoured foes with ease (sent, hulk) and her Astral Vision super creates a mirror image behind her opponent which makes it very easy to lockdown enemies with projectile spam or get a very good normal combos (she essentially deals double damage for 10 seconds).

Morrigan on point. That forward air dash is great for getting past projectile spam. it is so funny seeing people spam Hadouken/Neutralize and being able to literally just fly over it. That and she's Morrigan. Basically the reason I play most games with her in. Because she is in them.
Amaterasu, I only recently picked up, over my two previous choices, Deadpool and Viper. Viper's Focus Attack is interesting but she ate up way too much hyper for my tastes, and Deadpool was just kinda boring to me. He's a fun character, but playstyle wise, I just couldn't like him. So I went with Ammy and she's pretty cool.
And finally, the Dreaded One, Dormammu. Nothing is better than activating X-Factor Lvl 3 while having 5 Hyper bars. The chip damage from the Stalking Flare and Meteor Storm spam is enough to kill a character and a half usually. So damn satisfying.

Amaterasu has an extremely quick light attack, so it's easy to get in a hit before your opponent, and her heavy attack is a chain (free bonus damage). Also, the beads have crazy range.
Chris is hilarious with all of his guns, and the flamethrower pierces armor. A lot of times, opponents will try to super-jump over to you, which leaves them open to the flamer. Unfortunately, his level 3 hyper is shit. The combination punch also chains into pretty much everything.
Wesker is my reversal character. If my other two characters die (I always make sure Wesker is the last alive), I activate x-factor and use his counter, which does ridiculous damage and breaks the enemy's rhythm. Wesker and x-factor have pulled me out of a LOT of bad fights.
