I started to fake lightsaber fight in class when I got real bored.

I brought in an article to class years ago in high school, about how one of CRAY Inc's new systems had broken a processor interconnect speed record. It was for a "current events" day in history.

I then had to explain to the class, and teacher, how a supercomputer works, and why this high interconnect speed was a big thing, as they had no idea what I was talking about.

I don't think anyone in that class knew I was into computers that much until I brought in that article.

I'd have to say when i was helping my dad build a fence was a really nerdy one. I was holding a crowbar and breaking the old fence for the new one to go up and i said i feel like Gordon freemen.

I was out with friends for dinner once, at this sweet Japanese restaurant in New York City. These two guys sat at a table near us, and I looked over as they sat and happen to see the face of the guy that was facing me - I immediately recognized him as Reggie Fils-Aime. I had my friend google image-search to be sure, and yep, it was him.
Why do I know who he is, and what he looks like so that I see him and immediately know him?!

By the way, he's President of Nintendo Of America.

Actually my nerdiest moment was just recent. Last night I found a guy dressed as Han Solo at a McDonald's so I yelled, "Solo! Jabba wants his FREAKING money!"

He then pulled out his toy blaster and fired at me.

I played dead... I never had such a nerdy moment.

Pretty much anytime I throw down the gauntlet in a verbal duel with someone about anything Marvel or Star Wars related.

Last semester I was sitting in astronomy class, and my professor was talking about the wachmann comet, which was named after the person who discovered it, Arno Arthur Wachmann, who was a professional star watcher. Unable to control myself, I blurted out "But who watches the Wachmann??" I think it was safe to say no girl in that class was going to sleep with me after that, but damn if it wasn't worth it.

It my nerdiest moment was when I had to explain how a hydrogen bomb works to the class. Nobody remembers anything in that 20 minute talk. (which was only supposed to last 3-4 minutes)

I once explained the entire plot of the Metal Gear games to a Film class.

Let me tell you something: nothing makes you look more absurd then trying to explain (with a straight face) how a severed arm from a psychotic clone can take over a Russian cowboy and have the both of them plot to destroy the world with nuclear mecha.

I did the same with Fahrenheit 451, except it was 40 minutes instead of 5.

And everyone in the class loved it because it meant another day of class that they didn't have to do their oral report.

Anyway, I can't think of anything specifically.

I did once write the story version of Giants: Citizen Kabuto in grade 3.
But once a week in graphics I would prove some "nerds" wrong about science fiction stuff which would shut them up for the whole lesson. Which was great. Or I wore a Star Wars t-shirt to school on a free-dress day. Or...come to think of it, the question to me should be "What's the least nerdiest thing you've ever done?"

Oh! And I described all lolcats to a random at a party. Him: I have a black cat. Me: Oh a basement cat! Him: *weird look*. Me: Well you see there are ceiling and basement and monorail...
