I can empthise with that especially the lack of morals or shameb. That just makes us all the more fun to be around.

I'm a geek because I openly apply gaming metaphors to real-life situations in front of people that don't know what I'm talking about.

I quote many TV shows, movies, or animes with of my geeky friends, in fact we make a by-line to do so when the ladies are around, just to confuse them.

I like to spend my spare time reading about gaming industry.

Also I'm a strong advocate for game design and aesthetics as an art form.

I always thought I was an epic geek until I joined the University Anime club. When they started talking about table top role playing and hardcore gaming PCs and in depth lore of a billion and one sci-fi shows and anime I realised I'm just a casual geek.

The geekiest things for me is a love of anime, although not to the level of my fellow club members, and I have a lot of console games.

I would also like to play the theme for Contra: Shattered Soldier on my guitar, but I suck too badly. :(

On topic: I play video games, and a table top roleplaying game.
I upgraded my PC myself, and when to a small computer store to get the parts.
I play dance dance revolution.
Sometimes I prefer to just sit and read a book than hang out with my friends.
The office ladies at school all think I'm a really nice boy.
I have a forum as my homepage. (For anime)
I buy video-game related collectibles. And own miniatures. And dice, with more (and less) than six sides.

I know the star wars movies (i.e. the good ones, episode 4,5 and 6) by heart and the script is my personal bible. I can't talk with stupid people. Seriously! Most of the time I don't understand them and they don't understand me.

I know how to tie a bowtie and does so on a dayly basis.
I also wear garish shirt and argyle slip overs and hornrimmed glasses and study latin.

3. real life hurts if i dont wonrder into my own little world of gaming
4. walking aroud in town and i will see things that i could use as cover etc
even though i dont look like a nerd/geek i am intelligent and peopl ask me what do i want to do for the rest of my life? i say play games and drink beer.

I'm a bit a secret Geek. Only the closest people know.
My geek traits are...

*I used to collect and play Magic: The Gathering - Arabian Nights to Torment. This is the past but it still counts and it's a BIG one.
*I retain information, facts and stats well.
*I receive logical puzzles each year for Christmas.
*I am a member of an internet forum - no names.
*I recognize I am a geek.

Don't care I'm a geek - my wife is hot and loads of people fancy her.

I can connect and feel empathy to game and movie characters

I don't mind Roleplaying at all

I love fantasy, such as LotR, Warhammer and Warcraft

I like Sci-fi (to a lesser extent than fantasy)

I play(ed) Warhammer Fantasy Battles (me and my friends don't get around to play very much at all no more)

And to top it all off, I'm currently working on a fan-art picture for Red Alert 3.. I shit you not! XD

I have, as a matter of fact, two definations of nerd in the encyclopedia that is my brain:

Positive: The kind of smart guy who does some odd things now and again, but is still well liked.

Negative: World of Warcraft. Need I say more?

Here goes:

1- I used to Play Warhammer 40k and still keep my army as a momento (Space Marines are the best, there is no arguing with that).
2- I've read more graphic novels than regular books (and that is far more, not just a slight lead).
3- Whenever it comes to photos with friends I am always the one taking the picture (I'm a pretty good photographer if I do say so myself).
4- I like ninjas...who doesn't?
5- I find people with glasses to be attractive.
6- I have planned out what I'm going to do in the event of a zombie genocide.
7- I sometimes ad-lib my own dialogue while playing video games (I find my own stuff funnier than the serious lines that you hear in-game).
8- I write on a gaming forum and have posted game reviews upon said forum.
9- I am socially inept and haven't had any girlfriends...ever (don't cry for me...it's actually pretty funny).
10- I look like a typical nerd/geek (pale enough to act like a prisim, t-shirt with game logo and baggy trousers and a genral miasma of awkwardness).

I'd say all that makes me almost painfully nerdy.
