Now: Windows 7

First: MS-DOS, if it counts. If not, Windows 3.1.

EDIT: I'm really starting to wonder where this mystical "Windows 97" came from. I hear that quite frequently actually; this thread isn't the first place I've seen someone claim to have used it.

OSX 10.5.

I do have a copy of Windows Vista but the bloody thing has thrown a hissy fit and refuses to work.

Currently I'm using Vista 64, which I regret, however I can't justify spending $150.00 on Windows 7. The first computer my family had was an Apple IIe, the first Windows OS computer we had was a Tandy 386 with Windows 3.1. I still miss the days of being able to exit windows and boot to DOS though, or even bypass the Windows bootup entirely. When you only have a 200mb hard drive, Windows wastes precious space. With every new iteration of Windows it just seems to become increasingly idiot-proof and bloated. The first time I booted up Vista I felt like a foam helmet dropped onto my head and my walls suddenly became encased in soft padding, not to mention that my Windows folder takes up almost 30gb of hard drive space.

The first OS I used extensively and often was Windows 98. It had issues. I liked it, but XP was amazing by comparison, for me.

I used Windows XP for a long time. I grew attached to it. I've switched to Windows 7 Pro 64-bit, and I'm completely happy with the decision. Went to 7 and haven't looked back.

First was Windows 95.
Then 98.
Then ME (Millenium Edition)
Then XP.

Now, I'm on Mac OS X (Snow Leopard).
I want a gaming PC, but I can't build a Mac one, and I found an eBay page that has all the stuff I want.
For just over $1000

WIndows XP on my desktop pc, Windows 2000 on a backup harddrive in case XP crashes and I really need a computer fast, and Windows Vista on my Laptop. But I think the harddrive with XP on it is corrupted, because I've been getting BSOD crashes every so often - and reïnstalling windows, or replacing it with another OS doesn't work - and it startted after I got a virus... but I'll manage somehow.

There's no point upgrading just yet for me. Money for less functionality? No thanks. XP works with the most games.
