Material Defender (Descent 1/2/3/3:M)
NOTE: THIS IS IN THE OP'S SCENARIO OF "space terrorists hijack your home world."
We would need Blair and MD1032 for the badass flight abilities/space flight experience. I picked Blair over Jake Logan (The guy from Tachyon: The Fringe) because Blair is more experienced in ground assault (as noted from the ending missions of Wing Commander III where you need to take the Excalibur down and drop a nuke on their planet). If my homeworld had truly been hijacked, we'd need to be able to bomb the shit outta their outposts.
I need Samus because she too is a space-fairing badass, but is also able to single-handedly infiltrate and take control of a ground area back, while also having a ship similar in power to Blair and MD1032's (assuming Blair also has the Victory with him, or another carrier, making me think I should have picked Jim Raynor).
And Tyrael because, well, he's a fucking angel, and if he can kick ass and take names against hell's minions, I'm sure he could support us in some way (even though I know he wouldn't want to get directly involved, he could watch over the planet and the other 3.)
