Yeah but I think that was just a port, this time they're actually creating a new game.Exius Xavarus said:]
Okay my bad, perhaps not always. But Sanzaru Games is the one that put the Sly Collection together. :x I've seen several screens and a couple vids of Sly 4 and it looks really good.
I know it was. Sly 3 wrapped everything up real nice-like and it didn't need a sequel at all. But I can't personally complain about more Sly Cooper. :xFFP2 said:Yeah but I think that was just a port, this time they're actually creating a new game.Exius Xavarus said:]

I was excited as well, but then I realised that Sly 3 was meant to be the final game in the franchise.
I feel your pain friend, I borrowed that game from a friend once and didn't really get very far, but I had a hell of a time with it, I do remember thinking "Agrippa" didn't sound like a very roman name, which is weird because most of what else I remember was being completely blown away by the whole gladiator thing (I really like the roman gladiator thing and think there should be more games about it)GunsmithKitten said:Shadow of Rome.
Suffered from the same fate that Godhand did (both Capcom titles and both fairly close to each other in birth). I just don't understand why it got so little love. It pushed PS2 graphics to near current gen levels, had glorious sound, played smooth and responsive (and if you knew the Onimusha engine, you could jump right in), and most importantly had some of the most magnificent video game violence you could ever ask for with no two fights ever playing out the same. Very replayable as well since you could replay the best parts of the game as you wished. Even the few people I knew who gave it a chance said it was a blast, but again, so few gave it that chance. *SIGH* Which pretty much means I'll never see a sequel...

Your avatar gives you away BTW. King is naked my friend. Sooner we speak it out, the better.
Took the words right out of my mouth. I wound up buying, trading in accidentally, renting, and re buying this game like 3 times before i finally got to the penultimate boss fight, which I could never beat. Before then though, I loved every goddamn minute of the game. It was fun AND challenging when you shot a guy in the arm, but didn't take it off, so it started swerving all over the place in no particular direction, shooting wildly. Even when it happened to me.scorptatious said:I've actually watched an LP of the game. Looks fun.Johnny Novgorod said:I'm gonna go ahead and say God Hand, even though as of late I've seen a few Escapists highly commending the game. Just one of those games that's popular to mourn for, I guess.
Plus anything with a poisonous chihuahua in it has to be good right?
OT: Hmm...
Possibly Metal Arms: Glitch in the System.
Between the vast amounts of powerful and creative weapons, the large enemy variety, the humorous and fun characters, and the decently large amount of levels there are, this game is freaking awesome.
Sadly, this game didn't get very much attention at all. Of course from what I've heard, it was released around the same time as the first Prince of Persia for the PS2. So I imagined that didn't help.
Regardless, if you have an XBOX 360, go the the XBOX original hits and download this game. DO IT NOW!
Did Sucker Punch comment on Sly 4? I wanna know what they think about it.Exius Xavarus said:I know it was. Sly 3 wrapped everything up real nice-like and it didn't need a sequel at all. But I can't personally complain about more Sly Cooper. :x
I don't honestly remember. I think I read somewhere that Sanzaru Games had spent an extensive amount of time studying the game's styles and all that fun jazz to make sure they do the series justice. But that's about all I can remember.FFP2 said:Did Sucker Punch comment on Sly 4? I wanna know what they think about it.Exius Xavarus said:I know it was. That was a surprisingly fun game. I remember playing that back when it came out. I agree that it has a really sweet soundtrack. Here's Daniel Tidwell performing the song you had linked earlier.Shoggoth2588 said:Easy.
Puzzle-RPG with some of the best music in the franchise. The characters are blank slates and 100% is actually possible for most players. As you fight monsters and bosses, their sprites show damage as the HP lowers. Here's some music...
You played Dark Messiah: Might and Magic Elements the Xbox 360 port... which is a terrible port yes. Play the PC version, mods aren't needed, but worth looking at if you can't play it 'vanilla'. Just don't go into it thinking it's an RPG or looking for a good story because you ain't gonna find much of either. Even so you just might not like the game, plain and simple... and their ain't nothing wrong with that.OniaPL said:Tell me, is the PC version somehow radically different? Back in the day I picked it from the bargain bin for Xbox 360 and paid 30 euros for it, and found out that I absolutely hated the game for it was so incredibly mediocre and bland. I still regret the purchase; I feel embarrassed for being cheated into buying that trash.AndrewF022 said:Mine would probably have to be Dark Messiah Might and Magic... it reviewed ok and has a small but dedicated following of fans but its a game I cannot recommend highly enough.
Then later on I found out that some people actually like the game, but they all always said that you should play it on the PC with lots of mods.
