We're not perfect; we've all got personal flaws that usually define us. A couple of mine, for example, are my overwhelming urge to correct someone when he or she uses bad grammar or pronounces something wrong; my chronic procrastination and laziness, and my lack of social skills. So, fellow escapists, what are your personal flaws?

Ok I got two

One sometimes I don't do so hot with nouns. It's a family thing. I can say Breakfast when I mean dinner, or fish when I mean net. It's all stupid stuff. Which is why I'm told to shut up a lot.

Also I can't mock fight. If I have to fight, I'm not holding back.

That's why I don't fight anymore.....

Good topic by the way

How many of these threads are people going to make? My only flaw is that I didn't get taught good life style and food choices.

If perfection is your flaw, then logically, can you be perfect?

My flaws? I talk a lot. I tend to piss people off. I tend to get pissed off and occasionally throw a punch or two, or throw the guy onto a desk or into lockers.

I have a very mild form of asperger's so I didn't learn to properly socialize until I was almost 20. As a matter of fact I still have trouble deciphering when someone is flirting with me. It does happen, but I wish it didnt because it usually just goes flying over my head.

Stop creating paradoxes.
Hey, it's what I do.

I fall in love too easily. Clique ftw.
(hmm... I wonder if that actually IS clique though, or just stupid? :S )

To make sure you get what I mean...
When I have a girlfriend, I love her like there is no-one else.
But while single, I often have 2 to 3 (quite often even more than that) girls in mind of who seem like they could be "the one" for me. It gets quite aggravating, especially as "the three" doesn't quite have the same ring to it :p ...

I have fear of showing emotion. It makes it really hard for people to understand me sometimes. I guess that would be my flaw.

Well people can't stand too close to me or they'll overdose on awesome. Thats probably the big one. Oh yeah, I'm also a rampant sex offender.

I have difficulty finishing what I've started. I'm also a complete dilettante, which feeds back on difficulties in finishing things. I make short films, photograph, draw, write, compose music, but all really half-assed. In fact, most of my short films ended up being 'trailers' for what I really wanted to make.

I found, though, that if I combine things, I can bluff my way to a step above crap.

At one point, there were probably fifty or sixty unfinished short stories in a folder on my computer, all written over a period of about three years. eventually, they did get finished, but in a different way; two years writing a 300-page (single-spaced), five-act play that brought together all the characters (who totaled over 120) and plots from the short stories and collectively resolved them.

"And then they were all hit by buses!" ... That's not how it really ended, but it might as well have been.

So, that's the personal flaw: resolution issues.

Some people would argue that being flawless is a flaw. I'm joking, I'd have to say that I to often act before I think. Which given my, ummm... Odd, sense of humour can be lead to me acting like an ass hole. (it's two words)

I remember a thread just like this and I answered precisely this:

I'm terrible with emotions. I've been called a "bad guy" after a girl I wasn't really interested in asked me out. She asked for the straight truth and I gave it to her. She hasn't talked to me for weeks when we used to be great friends and talk pretty much every day.

Also I'm a terrible procrastinator. Not lazy though, if I want something done, I can go through it and do a fair job. But science homework? Forget about it till the night before it's due.

I'm too shy because I usually say something stupid when I open my mouth. I also think less of myself than I might be.
