That's argueable. While it doesn't do as much damage, the .32 uses a much rarer ammo time that should be saved for the Hunting Rifle, and has a smaller clip then the Chinese. It's worse than the 10mm you start with and are found absolutely everywhere early on, and it is a waste of a very useful type of ammo.
Not as bad as the Chinese pistol though...
