So I've come to the conclusion, and I'm sure many of you would agree, that we all have various sides to our personalities, or different ways we act at different times, what are some of yours?

You know Hannibal Lecter from "Silence of the Lambs"? I feel like him sometimes, except as a troll.

"I just used your visits to escape from prison. I'm now free and at large.

...U mad, Clarice?"

I agree to this idea, which is why I often believe there's something wrong with me. Alone, I feel invincible and I say and do whatever's on my mind. I'm funny, intelligent, and well-spoken.

Soon as I hit a crowd of people, I'm stomped. I feel inferior and lost, so I immediately target those I can relate to on a superficial level.

Then WHAM!

That's when I'm classed as a "insert stereotype" and can't break free from that social persona.

It's strange...alone I feel social but, socially, I feel out of place, and I act according to how out-of-place I feel.

Personality 1- Most common. Comes out around friends and people I know well. Is a healthy (if slightly more prone to stupidity) mix of the following

Personality 2- Extremely skeptical, logical, very very stubborn and opinionated, prone to using wide vocabulary just because I can, the "smart" me

Personality 3- Very defensive of people I care about, tries to help, good with people (in short bursts) and helping them

Personality 4- Dead inside, completely shut down all emotion and "logic it away" and sort things out objectively

Personality 5- Prodding at the back of my mind that can flirt and make crude jokes and jabbing comebacks. Shows very rarely

In order of commonality.

1: Calm, collected, curious. This is who I am and who I generally show to the world. I'm inquisitive by nature and tend to ask questions whenever and wherever they appear.

2: Determined. This shows up whenever I'm playing a game or whenever I'm attempting to get something done. Whenever I put my mind to something, nothing stops me until I'm done. This can also be confused for patience when I turn that determination into self-control.

3: Subtle. This is exclusively a RL or gaming trait. In games, I have a specific kill preference: Proxy>Long Range/Quiet>Short Range/Quiet>Multitarget>Long Range/Loud>Short Range/Loud>Suicide. IRL, this reflects as passive-aggression.

4: Passionate. This is a side of me that I keep under wraps. My family has a history of anger issues, as do I, so, whenever I begin to fall into the point of becoming angry, I become determined to stop that. This also reflects upon personal attachments. Whenever I decide I'm going to be with someone, I decide for the long term. This tends to go badly for me whenever the relationship inevitably goes south.

Public - Cripplingly shy, reserved and anxious in an attempt to put my best foot forward.

Private - Inappropriate, neurotic, lazy.

Either way, I'm always nice and a little bit silly. I try to be approachable despite some negative tendencies.

1. Generally, I'm a laid-back, funny guy. Love to add in a wisecrack at every opportunity.

2. Disinterested. Sometimes, I just get stuck in my own head, and I just go into full-on daydream mode... even when I'm talking with people.

3. Excitable. If I run into someone who's nerdy for the same things I am, I'm just impossible to shut up. This one doesn't happen that often.
