your pick of apocalypse

a lot of games had it, a lot of people fear it and let's admit it. most of us don't want it to happen.
but if it will happen anyway. there are still many posseble ways it could turn out. like the sun exploding, global meltdown,etc... but what type of apocalipse would would you rather find interesting? in other words what is your favorite type of apocalypse?
i suspect most(if not everyone) will say a zombie apocalipse like me.

An apocalypse I'd find interesting?

Our planet getting RKKVd (Relativistic Kinetic Kill Vehicle) to hell. That would speak volumes of the technological capability of whatever civilization decided to annihilate us.

Plus it would be quick, as our atmosphere turned into a rolling ball of plasma from all the energy bleed heating it up to ludicrous temperatures.
