So ive been thinking with the introduction of the 1.7 update for Minecraft, il be able to play with Pistons!

We've seen the cool tricks with doors and traps that you can do and it made me think of the other possibilites we could do. So after a good think about what project i could build with these pistons i decided im goign to make some silo doors that have rockets raise from them. Just an idea and i know its goin to take some time but hell it will look cool if i pull it off.

Aswell as the Pistons, sheers have been introduced (I dont like this idea at all) and also a few fixtures with TNT and fences. You now need a lever to activate tnt (I can see this becoming a problem to many things in the Escapcraft severs) and for the fences we can easily place fences ontop of eachother without that horrible block routeen you had to do before..

So whats your plans and projects for when 1.7 comes?

Well, I have a metric ass-load of redstone, so hopefully I can figure out something cool to do with automation. Maybe create a sort of Portal 2 test chamber with the movable walls. I'm gonna need more slime to make sticky pistons.

I already have a cathedral of industry. I'm gonna add some huge automated doors and a bunch of pistons moving like a factory, and a lift in my mine. Oh, and the mine is a 25x25 cylinder from level 70 down to bedrock. And is connected to the cathedral.

I will have to go get the new update from thepiratebay if I want to keep playing, though odds are good i won't.
I do hope that doesn't mean you pirated Minecraft - piracy is rather frowned on around here.

OT: I don't really have anything in mind with the 1.7 update. I'm looking forward to 1.8. The adventure update sounds intriguing.
