Your pokémon team

after completing pokémon diamond with a team full of starters I decided that,since I have at least one game with from every generation, it'd be fun to make teams for the regions,
My Proper team are all around level 70, Torterra, Infernape,Empoleon,Staraptor,Luxray and Dialga.
but every other team is around level 25 because I only can train them up efficiently with the expierience share. so without further ado, here are my region teams(my sinnoh team isn't the original)
Kanto - Bulbasaur,Charmander,Squirtle,Pidgeotto,mankey,Pikachu
Johto - ALL 3 Starters, Amphoros,Dratini,Espeon
Hoenn - All 3 starters, Swellow,Gardevoir, Gallade(I know that's sort of cheating but whatever)
Sinnoh- Ponyta,Roselia,Mantyke,Drifloon,gabite,lucario
Oh yeah and I have an Eevee team but I never use it.

But what I was trying to get to before I spent a paragraph listing my(fingerquotes)AMAZING teams was what is your pokéon team(s) and why do you use it?

I'm old-school, and played Pokemón Blue. My team was this:

Charizard
A fire-breathing dragon was the obvious choice for an 8-year old kid. For some reason, I started to like Bulbasaur more as the years went by... but by then my blue days where long over.
Pidgeotto
Yeah, one of the first pokemons I captured, for some reason I grew attached to him something fierce.
Mewtwo
He was the most powerful pokemon in the game... supposedly. Anyway, when I got him the game was already finished so whatever
Alakazam
My favorite pokemon of all time. Psychic pokemons were imba anyway, and he could bend spoons and stuff. Also he was one of those mutated pokemons only available when traded with friends, so he was rare aswell. Truly awesome.
Machamp
So yeah, I traded with friends to get the mutated pokemons. Obviously they had to be in the team. Not golem though, I had him but he stayed in the fridge
Zapdos
He was a legendary flying lightning pokemon. Way cooler than lame pikachu. Obviously awesome enough for my team.

Yeah, not the most balanced team, but since I cheated and got them all to level 99, I still did okay. Funny how I can remember my team, over a decade later. I wonder if I think back real hard, maybe I can recall their names aswell?

I'm playing through Leaf Green at the mo, I have:
lv 42 Blastoise (the best starter, bar NONE! Venusaur and Charizard don't have shit on Blastoise)
lv 40 Primeape (absolutely lethal, assuming he's not fighting birds, psychics, ghosts, bug or poison. So not too great after all)
lv 40 Pidgeot (You're not playing the game right if you don't have one of these bad boys)
lv 37 Flareon (Monster attack stat but shit moves)
lv 40 Nidoking (Pretty shit, but Thrash makes him worth keeping. Looks bad-ass too. HM slave)
lv 39 Raichu (Because Pikachu is shit)

(I'm having a tough time deciding if I should take Blastoise/Ferlaigatr out for Alakazam, I just love them both so much D.

Seadra: Dude's a funky seahorse

Venomoth: Dude's a funky moth (I nicknamed this mothra so I could shout MOTHRA AIRSTRIKE whenever I use an attack)

Aerodactyl: Dude's a funky pterodactyl

Kabutops: Dude's a funky erm guy with scythes and a pointy face

I ditched my silly little charmander quite early on, fool annoyed me.

I never used Taillow/Swellow before so I thought it would be interesting. The next one I'm catching is a Magnemite. I always have a Magneton in my team, as they are badass.

My SoulSilver team really only has 4 Pokemon at the moment, as I keep leveling random ones. The permanent 4 are
Feraligatr
Typhlosion
Meganium
Milotic

At the moment I'm leveling a Dunsparce, simply because I can. And it knows Aqua Tail, sweet.

I'd recommend a dratini or d=some sort of dragon type on your team, since they tend to be part flying and are almost unstoppable

I'd recommend a dratini or d=some sort of dragon type on your team, since they tend to be part flying and are almost unstoppable

I have a Dragonite that knows ExtremeSpeed and a Salamence that knows Hydro Pump in the PC box, but for some reason, I hardly ever use them. I guess the main reason I don't use Salamence is because I've been training it since it was a Bagon to specialise in Sp.Atk, so it knows Hydro Pump, Heat Wave, Draco Meteor and Crunch. It would catch your foe off-guard I guess.

Salamence used Hydro Pump! Wait, what...

really,ALL OF THEM? back when pokémon was at it's highest peak of popularity in my town you'd be considered unstoppible if you had a level 80 that WASN'T a legendary, the highest I've seen is my friend's level 100 blastoise, but keep in mind I was 9 and had no internet access
