I don't play competitively, but love to raise Pokemon for the battle subway. I often play coop with someone else, so some of them are specifically geared towards being double friendly. The items I use on them vary a lot because I mix and match my teams all the time. I really wish I could change the nicknames on the ones I passed from gen IV... I got addicted to nicknaming in Black and White.
Apologies for all the text. Couldn't resist a good excuse to write this stuff down. I have:
Hippowdon/Sand Stream/Impish
Toxic-Earthquake-Slack Off-Crunch
I have a lot of sandstorm friendly Pokemon, so I often lead with Hippowdon to get Sandsteam going. It used to have Stealth Rock, but I took it off since it's not that great in Subway. Usually has Leftovers to be more annoying.
Tyrannitar/Sand Stream/Adamant
Rock Polish-Crunch-Stone Edge-Ice Punch
Often leads, also to set up Sand Storm. I often have a Focus Sash on him so he can live through a fighting move to get a hit or a Rock Polish off.
Zoroark/Illusion/Timid
U-Turn-Flamethrower-Dark Pulse-Nasty Plot
Nickname: Jareth
I love the idea of Illusion and try to pair Zoroark with something that fools the opponent to let it survive to get off a Nasty Plot. Usually Gengar, but my Amoongus works too since a lot of things seem reluctant to hit it. It's particularly great when things try to hit it with Psychic. Zoroark's a lot of fun, if a bit delicate. Mostly holds a Life Orb.
Gengar/Levitate/Modest
Psychic-Shadow Ball-Confuse Ray-Thunderbolt
Nickname: Hecate
I raised this lovely lady specifically to pair with my Zoroark. It protects it from fighting types by first fooling them into thinking Zoroark's a ghost type, as well as being able to switch in to nullify a fighting hit when the illusion's revealed. It's not perfect since strong neutral attacks are a threat to both of them, but it's fun. Been contemplating replacing Confuse Ray with Focus Blast.
Bouffalant/Reckless/Adamant
Revenge/Wild Charge/Head Charge/Payback
Nickname: Bullette
Slow, but hard to one-hit KO and able to dish out huge damage to anything that doesn't resist Head Charge. Usually I put a Normal Gem on it, sometimes Leftovers to make it live longer.
Amoongus/Effect Spore/Calm
Giga Drain/Spore/Growth/Sludge Bomb
Nickname: Morchella
Adorable, hard to kill, and annoying. Usually has Black Sludge.
Jolteon/Volt Absorb/Modest
Hidden Power Water/Volt Switch/Thunderbolt/Thunder Wave
My only Pokemon with a Hidden Power, since I don't pay a lot of attention to IVs. I just lucked out with this one.
Electivire (Shiny)/Motor Drive/Hardy
Brick Break/Ice Punch/Wild Charge/Fire Punch
Has a mediocre nature, but I couldn't resist the shininess. Almost always holds an Expert Belt. Has a way of *almost* KO'ing a wide variety of things, since he has wide coverage but everything but Wild Charge is kind of low power. However, he's pretty tough and usually lives to hit again.
Excadrill/Sand Rush/Adamant
X-Scissor/Swords Dance/Rock Slide/Earthquake
Nickname: Claude
I almost exclusively use this with a Sand Stream Pokemon and it usually holds a Focus Sash to make it more likely to get a Swords Dance off. Outspeeds almost anything thanks to Sand Rush, though it often gets murdered by anything it can't one hit KO or things with priority moves.
Garchomp/Sand Veil/Jolly
Swords Dance/Stone Edge/Dragon Claw/Earthquake
Since Garchomp feels a little cheap to me, I mostly use it when I'm mad at the Subway AI.
Swampert/Torrent/Modest
Ice Beam/Sleep Talk/Rest/Surf
Carrying either a Chesto Berry or Leftovers, Swamptert adds a little variety to my sandstormers and pairs great in doubles with my boyfriend's Dry Skin Toxicroak.
Lucario/Inner Focus/Modest
Psychic/Aura Sphere/Vacuum Wave/Dark Pulse
Made to add a speedy special attacker to my sandstormers.
Entei (Shiny event)/Pressure/Aadamant
Flare Blitz/Will-O-Wisp/ExtremeSpeed/Iron Head
Straightforward speedy special attacker, and the only legendary I currently use. It's on par enough with, say, Arcanine, that it doesnt' feel cheap.
Braviary/Sheer Force/Adamant
Brave Bird/Rock Slide/Return/Superpower
Nickname: Aquila
Fun to use with a lot of type coverage, though it has a way of being a little too slow and not quite bulky enough to make up for it. Oh well, I love him anyway.
Scizor/Technician/Adamant
Roost/Bullet Punch/Swords Dance/Bug Bite
Love the high powered priority STAB bullet punch, plus it pairs well with sandstorm.
Yanmega/Speed Boost/Modest
Bug Buzz/Psychic/Air Slash/U-turn
Speed Boost is great, and with a focus sash Yanmega usually lives long enough to wreck things.
Volcarona/Flame Body/Modest
Bug Buzz/Quiver Dance/Heat Wave/Fiery Dance
Nickname: Attacus
Has both Heat Wave and Fiery Dance since I mostly play doubles, and there's a lot of situations where one is better than the other. Also a frequent Focus Sash holder.
Archeops/Defeatist/Jolly
Acrobatics/Rock Slide/Dragon Claw/U-Turn
Nickname: Huxley
Most notable for its extremely powerful Acrobatics. Still fiddling with the rest of its moveset.
Hydreigon/Levitate/Modest
Flamethrower/Focus Blast/Dark Pulse/Dragon Pulse
I've wanted to have a Hydreigon ever since I saw its adorable sock puppet hands.
As well as these guys, I have an Emboar, Cofagrigus, Gigalith, and Galvantula I intend to use but am waiting for the opportunity to fix their EVs. No EV berries yet
