two handed weapons are too limiting. for example with a one handed chainsword you can eat a sandwhich or drink some coke while slicing through the zombie hordes

I have to call into question how much the people who say Katana actually know about swords and combat as a whole.

They're just well...not good in this situation. Sure they can cut flesh well enough but bone is incredibly dense and durable. You'd never put a single zombie down with one of those things baring some kind of magical buffs ala Samurai Jack. That'd be cool. Yeah. Samurai Jack
