Both Melas and Zepheos mean 'black' in ancient Greek (kinda) so it's supposed to be a not at all witty pun on how many people choose to call themselves things like 'Prince of Darkness' and mean it utterly seriously.

As for the avatar, as I say every time I talk about it, it was one of the Escapist default options, and it's just kinda grown on me.

The name wasn't really something I thought about for long... I had profiles a lot of other places under the name "Belial", a screenname first choosen as LordBelial when I was 14, and it sounded cool. Then I stoppe being a douche, but kept the name on, as that was what everybody on the site knew me as such. The name migrated as Belial to other sites, so as not to have 235765423 different usernames.

Anyways, about the time I signed up for The Escapist, I was getting very tired of Belial, regretting I didn't change it sooner. So I signed up with whatever popped up in my head first. It happened to be Longshot, since I was reading through some X-men comics at the time, where he featured.

The avatar was recently changed, when I watched Repo! the Genetic Opera. It used to be Longshot, but I feel a little in love with Repo!, so I changed it to Graverobber, the character from the film, who sings my song of the movie.

People who read the book? Also, in the book, HUMANS ARE THE REAL MONSTERS. Though he does go crazy, it was because of being so marginalised for being different. And stuff. Well, I haven't read it, but my girlfriend has told me enough about it!

OT: My username is something I just thought up on the spot when asked for a username, and I gernerally go for pretty silly names for my personas, so I stuck with it.
Avatar is from one of my favourite webcomics, Nedroid, though I may change it soon. I do love Beartato though...

well when i was attempting to think up a username for somewhere i was also in the middle of preparing a lesson on field command so i spelled G-SMEAC backwards to get caemsg and recently i have morphed it into Kaymish on other sites and things which is how i imagine its pronounced
